You agree:

1.
That you are privileged guests on this system and as guests, we expect you to exhibit common courtesy to all EA personnel as well as other members of the Alpha Program. EA ("we" or "us") will exhibit the same courtesy towards you.

2.
You will be helping us shape the Game into a great product and we value your comments/insights/etc. However, that is not a license to be rude, nasty, demanding or generally unreasonable. Please remember that we will be dealing with a lot of people and, as such, a lot of differing opinions regarding what is right or wrong with the game. Just because we don't agree with you doesn't mean we don't value your continued input.

3.
We need your feedback. Your access as an alpha tester for the Game is not a free ride we expect something in return and that is your help.

4.
When posting messages about the game in our private message boards or when sending email, please try to be as professional as possible. Repeat the facts as accurately as you can and without undue emotionalism. Saying things like "This game sucks because I lost my character when I did something that crashed the game" is not helpful. If you like something, don't hesitate to tell us. By the same token, if you do not like something or think that something can be improved don't hesitate to tell us that as well. You will never be banned, punished, taken to task, etc. for speaking your mind in an open, honest and professional manner. Honest, well thought out criticism is as valuable to us as are suggestions or praise.

5.
Before posting messages publicly about the game outside the EA boards, please be sure you are adhering to the confidentiality terms of this Agreement and the instructions in Addendum A and Addendum B above. Provided that you are expressly permitted to disclose the information as provided in Addendum A, we do not mind if you say things that are critical about the game but remember that we still have a long way to go. We do not expect you to be mindless shills for EA or for the Game but neither do we expect you to trash the game just for the sake of trashing it.

6.
If requested by EA personnel to help test an aspect of the game, please cooperate. The sooner we work things out, the sooner the game goes LIVE.

7.
Vulgar expressions, course language, abusive behavior, verbal harassment will not be tolerated either towards EA personnel or other alpha testers. The use of such language, whether or not you consider it in-character, is not acceptable, whether you use it in casual and public speech, 'private links', contacts or even in a character's name.

8.
Part of alpha testing a product is the responsibility to report all bugs to EA. Abuse of 'bugs', 'undocumented features' or other such things will not be tolerated. It is the responsibility of all players to report all problems, errors or bugs in the game to EA as soon as they are found. The continued used of such is contrary to EA policy as such bugs/errors can damage and delay the completion of this alpha test. Additionally, if you know about a bug or have heard about a bug and fail to report the bug to EA, you will be treated no differently from someone who abuses the bug. We reserve the right to lock anyone caught abusing a bug out of all EA products forever.

9.
You will not behave in any manner that is contrary to the 'spirit of the game' as defined by EA in its sole discretion.

10.
You will not represent yourself as an officer or employee, sub-contractor or somehow being connected with EA, EA's Licensors or the Game. We reserve the right to lock anyone caught doing that out of all EA products forever.

11.
You acknowledge and agree that your communications with other users, alpha testers or EA via chats, conferences, bulletin boards, and any other avenues of communication within the Game or as part of this Alpha Program are public and not private communications, and that you have no expectation of privacy concerning your use of this Game and participation in this Alpha Program. You acknowledge that personal information that you communicate within the Game or in connection with this Alpha Program may be seen and used by others and result in unsolicited communications, therefore we strongly encourage you not to disclose any personal information about yourself in your public communications within the Game or the Alpha Program. EA is not responsible for information that you choose to communicate to other users within the Game or the Alpha Program, or for the actions of other users.

12.
In the unfortunate event that a player has engaged in unacceptable behavior, said player will be treated accordingly. EA in its sole discretion, reserves the right to terminate the player's access to the Alpha Program and/or the Game immediately and without further notice.

Yeah my feelings exactly, I see where you're coming from. So far BF3 feels like BC2.5 and you don't even have to play it to know it, of course all we have seen is rush and nothing of conquest so it could still all be good.

I take it you still haven't actually played it yet you "FEEL" its BC2.5?

OMG... I'm propper spinning out with people's comments WHO HAVENT EVEN PLAY IT!

EITHER WAY ITS IN GOD DAM ALPHA FFS

Demize99 tweeted "@GODuk @xm8prototype He Can say that it rocks. We are ok with that", after sum1 said how good Alpha was in a tweet to Demize!

So with that said...( My grammar and English have never been great, but felt I needed to put this out. Try not to be too harsh as its an honest opinion.)

FIRST OFF: The spotting is nowhere near as bad as BC2.
It doesn't feel like BC2.5 and if it does to some then so what? BC2 was a successful game. Judging by how this game feels its going to be without a shadow of a doubt my new obsession. To me the only parts similar to BC2 are all the good points from the game.

Let me give you an example and if you take anything from this post take this: I went straight from BF3 to BC2 and it felt like going from BC2 to BF2 FREE TO PLAY, some aspects are the same but its on a completely different level… Its already in a different class to anything I’ve ever played!!!! People who whinge about the game I try and check their stats and tbh as you can imagin their play time is next to nothing.. Meaning they no doubt got an ass whooping.

The game feels very very real, the guns and sounds are great. Looking at the movement of people i.e the actually solider mechanics and the way people use the environment is exactly how real life soldiers would act….. So long gone has the standing in the middle of street pp’n sum1 across the map….. The hit reg is spot on, sniper is a bit rubbish to start with but once you unlock the SV98 then look out!

The only boring part is playing one rush map. As you can imagine the MCOM's hardly goes so your stuck playing one section over and over again (cant complain its Alpha) ... However when you get to the metro the game comes to life, people say its horrible but you need to learn it and use your equipment correctly..... Blow out walls to get quick access to people on the other side and whats more it actually feels like you’re blowing the wall out! Some might say camping is a problem using prone in dark places etc, I can tell you right now they cant camp for to long as all it takes is to shine your lazer or torch in their eyes and they cant see jack. Last nite for example I shone my torch in their face strafing left to right while my team mate ran behind him and knifed him!!! Side note: All the idiots like my self who've shone a laze in their eyes, I can confirm that this looks amazing and does proper disorientate you when some1 does this to you.

The gun unlocks are like no other game, no longer can you unlock one gun and use it on both sides i.e US and insurgents, both sides have their own wepons which need individually unlocking. The next thing is to unlock is the acog or the red dot sight, this now needs to be unlocked on a gun to gun basis which also applies for the other attachments i.e the lazer sight, tripod etc.

Other very good bits are how you have to use your environment, if you’re a sniper then prone works so well using the light and shadows to creep then stop when you see some1 as running round like a headless chicken will see you end up like one. The ability to stealthily creep round enemy lines will make or brake the game. Again I’l reiterate before people jump on the band wagon about “camping” snipers…. You can counter them by shining the lazer/torch in their face and strafing left to right.

Support class has a great little feature which lets you use a tripod… You can go prone and use the tripod to set your gun up in a “mounted gun scenario” which drastically improves your accuracy. This can also be set up in crouch position using a wall or even a park bench. This has proven very affective when your team is trying to capture or protect the MCON.

Competitively wise (EDOM) this game imo will be perfect as you TRULY need to utilize your surroundings by correctly setting up in the choke points and using each class!

BATTELOGWhere do I start…. this is simply outstanding… I cannot stress how well designed this website/game launch is, long gone are the days loading into game to see who is online, you can literally see all your friends and what server they are playing on without ofc loading the game up. Its so simple to join them its un-true. I CAN CONFIRM THE FRIENDS SYSTEM WORKS FLAWLESSLY + you can have as many as you like lol and not just 20!!!!! You search for servers via the website which is very easy and works perfect. Once you’ve found and clicked join a server, at bottom left will show the map and tell you what stage the game is at loading wise, you can check a box that says “start game when loaded”. The best way to describe it is steam meets facebook!!! I swear I’ve spent more time on battlelog than on facebook this last few weeks.

Another thing I’ve notice and to me this is BIG!!! Is in the stats section they’ve brought back the old medal system, not the stupid pin’s in BC2…. Most of the medals (cant unlock any yet) are from the BF2 days which is GREAT!!!

I could talk about much much more, but tbh like all other FPS games its in its infancy and the fact its still in alpha and running so god dam smooth is un-believable. I’ve not had one single CTD, I know that nvidia cards are having problems, ATI's work great… So on to the darker side

The Bad points (remember its still in Alpha):

* There is no comm rose, and while spotting does help DICE need to either add the comm rose or tone down the ability to spam the crap out of the “Q”. DICE have confirmed in the Alpha forums they are hold meetings to discus the matter further.
* There are invisible walls.. You could be running down a path and all of a sudden hit an invisible wall, this seems to change when the MCOMs have gone… which leads me to believe that the coding is still not completely finished so doesn’t want you leaving the area.
* For me while the main guns are outstanding sound wise the pistols do sound like bb guns and also the base needs to be slightly increased when you get shot.
* The knife needs a slight bit of work I’ve had no misses at all when the enemy is standing up, however trying to knife while they are in prone seems to need 2 knife swipes. Its my understanding that face to face knifing wont really happen as to get an instant kill must be a sneak attack from behind (which is amazing).
* The whole squad system needs a bit of work, can be temperamental at times and I haven’t seen in game voice coms yet.

Thegoon84 glad you like it and i see you enjoy it but to me it feels like a rehyped rehashed medal of honor just gone.

the graphics are very similar nicking styling from crysis 2 mirrors edge and moh. also the train station is from dead space 2 they just rehashed a lot of there stuff and made this game.

sound is amzing do agree there. bf has always had good ambient sound and is good in this.

gameplay is basically repetitive and boring nothing new. moh with vehicles.

99 percent lying on there belly or some guy with tank just ruining people cause there as fast as a ferarri

map is poor design mcoms right in open so defenders just sit and camp .

ranks medal and so on look very similar style to moh again and weapons are almost same.

the game should be called moh 2 as it isnt what i would call bf3.

if it was called moh 2 though you know it would bomb cause of the last one and if its stays like it is now then thats what it will do a month after release and everyone will be back on bfbc2.

not impressed could and hopefully will be a lot better apon release.

also people calling people idiots wondering about specs you have people with 4 ghz sandybridge cpus and 580 gtx getting 50 fps on crappy settings.

imagine with 64 people and smoke and so on will litterally be unplayable for 90 percent of people this is why you havent tested 64 man servers.

avg fps of most rigs and i mean decent quad set ups and decent cards are 40-50fps which is way too low for fps online.

I genuinely do love it mate, the repetitive side as I said I agree with and yeah the MCON’s are in a stupid place… only way to take it is by the tank sitting on top of it! After that I think the metro is great it might have same design as other games but seeing the game mechanics and soldiers running around feels as tho I’m seeing it for real, I get the cool feeling I used to get with BF2!

MoH was a great game it felt more real that most other FPS titles, That game got under-rated imo. However it seems to have taken all the good points from BC2 and MoH which works Fing amazing. People said worse things in BETa about BC2 than this. People in our clan who have BETA love it, even BC2 haters say this is the one!! To me its just feels so much more real and when the big conquest maps come with jets and better choppers I honestly think then I’l see the true bf2 sequel!

Thanks for posting your thoughts Thegoon84, sounds very promising :)

Thanks mate!

For Alpha stage its very very good. Make no mistakes this will be game of the year, I cant see how anything will be able to top this!

what do you think ?

Creelers why is it a troll my honest op.

i know that most of what i put is true so hardly troll is it.

I agree with DG he is entitled to his own opinion. Some of what he says is true, especially if you previously hated MoH because the gun mechanics and surrounds are like a super duper improvement of the game.

I’d be very very very surprised if this game fails to live up to hype! DICE have put some SERIOUS work into this game judging by Alpha!

This game just keeps getting more awesome! It's little details like that, that make it look so good imo.

I'm telling you now mate its what they've done best imo is the little things like the lazer in the eye.... will really work to your advantage. On the flip side tho i saw a few lazer beams bouncing around a corner so i threw a nade and got a trippe kill

Well you can all stick to your COD expansions and your Battlefield arcade games! BF3 is looking good!

*will be looking at peoples stats who moan about it

I've play it for 7 hours and i too am a vet of all the BF titles not just 3 of the main PC titles and love it... its far more advanced than BC2.... Its seems raven your hell bent on this game failing... no1 cares what you think!

Got me self one.

So wait there.... Answer this instead of selected replies.... you've already condemn the game without having played it?

It might not have everything from BF2... but grow up man, this isn't 2005 there are a few things missing but there are some new added features which make up for it!!!

I dont even notice the bloody comm rose along with the other stuff for BF2, the infantry stuff is outstanding!

So you think it's better to have no commander, no assets, health regeneration and see forth?

I think its better than all the other crap out atm yes! Thats a stupid question ofc i'd like to have commander and a comm rose. The sooner people stop living in past the better. If they put all the cool BF2 stuff in GREAT. If not then its how it is, people have said their piece on the Alpha forums we'll just have to wait and see... Its seems people forget this is just Alpha stage AND NOT REPRESENTATIVE OF THE FINAL GAME.

I’m all for people voicing their opinions but for god sake lets not **** it off to the point where people refuse to even try it or buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

The health re-reg is a softcore thing no doubt and is something HC wont have!

Goon you should try arma 2, arma: project reality might be out soon aswell.

Unless bf3 totally changes I can't see me playing it much. It seems not different to homefront and moh to me.

I dont mind a bit of Arma, arma:PR was something i was going to play. But tbh COD and BC2 is to arcadey and Arma is to much for a computer game.

Judging on BF3 Alpha, metro is exactly the sort of team play game i want, its not to heavy but has potential to be a great EDOM game! TFU have already had a some great co-op play!

Oh dear. Kept quiet up until now about the alpha as I wanted to watch the videos and read feedback from those participating. I was excited about this game but not anymore. 3d spotting looks like a built in wall hack (player shooting through thick black smoke and kills enemy miles away is just one example I have seen). Looks like whenever you meet another player both will drop to the floor and spin around shooting like some Wesley Snipers character in one of his movies. It's looking more like CoD in my view. Lots of flashy popups with silly awards. Haven't seen any real squad play just a load of one many army types firing off their noob tubes at empty spaces hoping they will hit someone.

See this is what happens !!! All of what you said is not true, the 3d spotting is not a built in wall hack and as plenty of people WHO'VE ACTUALLY PLAY IT have said its not as bad as it looks.

The players "dropping to the floor" I've no idea what you mean? If you mean Dolphin diving then i've not seen it EVEN THO I'VE PLAYED 7+hour.

Lots of flashy pop ups? What flashy pop ups... you couldn't be more wrong, unlike cod you dont get an unlock or a perk upgrade every 5 kills, you have to work to unlock your equipment.

I've only seen two people with a noob tube!!

Do me a favour go away and come back when you've played it.... this constant negativity is what destroy's games!!

I'm gona try and stay away from this thread until the full game comes out, as i am counting on this game to make sure i dont sell my PC and so far i REALLY REALLY like what i see!!!

Good for you that you like it, but I have an opinion and am sharing it, thank you. You cant tell people to "go away" and write in capital letters just because they have a different view from yourself.

If you haven't ACTUALLY played the game how can you comment on what OTHER people have posted?

If you've played then i take it back. But what you've said is far far from what people are actually moaning about.
