Pre-Ordered BF3 from the EA Store as it had the promotional offer of getting the expansion pack 'Back to Karkand' for free!

Got 10% off as well as £10 off which saved me some cash as well!

Wait they had time to release 4 maps as an 'expansion' and finalise this over half a year before the games even out? And people are actually paying extra for the content that clearly belongs in the original release?

yup, because they are re-makes of 4 BF2 maps, so they are targetting current BF2 fans.

This makes sense because most of the community has cried out for a 'modern remake of BF2' - so why not use some of the most popular maps. Great business model too. I wish them all the success and I'll be buying this too.

Why does it belong in the original release? It's not like theres only 5 maps planned and 4 have been pulled for that DLC. If you're a fan of those maps buy them if not have fun on the new ones.

*sigh* QTE just show lack of ability in making intriguing enough cutscenes not to need them, and simple inability at being creative enough to come up with anything better.
