All their recources are put into BF3, the staff wouldn't be allocated anywhere other than other parts of the game were SP to be removed.

But hey, according to you Multiplayer gets finished, then everyone works on Singleplayer so what do I know...

I already answered both factors if the time working on the SP was put on the MP the game would be finished faster & i have said that 3 times now.

there's probably a limit to how many devs you can have working on the mp at once, throwing more people at it doesn't mean they'll all e able to work at once so they'd be reassigned or because the game now has less market they'd be reassigned because it wouldn't be cost effective to have the larger team.

Well the whole debate is speculative, as we don't know the inner workings of the studio. However, I would still be happier knowing they weren't bothered about trying to reign in a wider demographic but just about creating the best multiplayer experience possible.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing what they produce for the single player.

There's never been a "Battlefield" campaign, so maybe it'll be something we've never seen before

Putting SP in does not mean that they are not trying to give the best multiplayer experience possible it just that you assume so.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed the BC2 campaign. Story was enough, voice acting good, good humour in parts. Look forward to the BF3 campaign

This is the only online FPS game i've ever been excited about, i loved BF2 when it came out but never really enjoyed others more than a short time.

Release can't come soon enough.

OI! What with all this sp bashing?

I for one cant wait for a sp story driven BF3. When ive finished that ill be (most probably) catching up with mp....the game looks fantastic!! any more new vids?!

bf2 modern warefare on the ps2 had an interesting sp.

when you died you warped to another solider on the field.

was an interesting mechanic, very much gave the feeling of you aren't a special little super soldier you're simply a very small grunt in a massive military machine.

I really hope the vehicles aren't just for decoration, they should be integral to the game like in BF2. I'm really not interested in another COD/MOH type game.

Well hang me but I thought the SP in BC2 was alright. Meh you're gonna get more of the same with BF3 so let's hope it's fun eh?

I've played every BF to death since 1942 (omg long time!

) and I am soooo looking forward to BF3 - fingers crossed it is the best thing ever. The teasers we've seen so far are awesome, just stunning, there's no doubt about it, anyone who says otherwise is either an idiot or is an MW2 fanboy

. No offence but all the other stuff, all the absolute drivel posted on this thread by those who pretend to know, is just ********, absolute ********. Don't get me wrong I am as excited as the rest of you (well, most of you) and I want it to be everything that I want it to be, but of course it won't be...nothing ever is...

Hopefully, fingers crossed, it'll be the best thing ever.
