Sounds like someone who is immature and is trying to start a clan for BF:3, it will flop with his philosophy of trying to use fear as a way to build up a reputation for his clan.

From what another GSP said (think it was Gameservers) was they the 3 that have got pre-order rental prices already out have been give a leg up (preferential treatment it seems) to get ahead of the competition. So I doubt it's an indication of the beta date as other GSP's have known for a while that they can't release pricing until then.

I also read, but can't find it now, that nobody will be able to rent servers for the beta, it'll purely from release day onwards only. So I suspect they'll be ending the beta before the release day.

Someone was spouting off earlier that they were a friend of an EA employee & was adamant that the beta would be released on 9th September. Personally, think it's a load of tosh & it'll come when it's ready.

They did the same with BC2... open Beta without control over servers. Open Beta closed down for a week then game was released. Servers came online 3 days before UK release, our server was full and none of us could even load the game up, was very strange!.

The way that EA/dice organise their "alpha / beta" forums suggest its just a front anyway and they don't read them. I would be amazed if they saw 0.1% of the alpha feedback, nevermind acted on it. It was just a gigantic eclectic mess of childish drivel. Anything of worth was lost in a unstructured, un moderated mountain of "zomg1111!!" rubbish.

To be fair I’d disagree on the 0.1%, granted a lot is just pointless dribble. I asked a few questions on the alpha forums and had Baza, Demise99 and
Zh1t0n reply to a few of my questions and concerns.

lol im worried about my gcard.

trouble is i only have a 300w psu running that, and at present my system is using 270w. so a new gcard would mean £100 on a 500w psu for the shuttle.

Ofc he's joking Jim lad! Altho if your only running a 300watt psu your risking blowing your system! You dont need to upgrade your system just your psu... NOW!

PC power requirements are always massively over estimated. If he's got a decent 300 watt PSU then he should be ok.

Really? I can say first hand that i'm 99% sure my psu blew my mobo, was running to much load on a low spec gfx and ended up literally blowing the psu to the point where sparks were flying out the back. Since then the mobo never worked... GET IT CHANGED!

Honestly you guys give such bad advice...

He has a SHUTTLE, those won't fit.

His 300w psu if it came with the case is no slouch either hence why he can run a 460 on it.

The maximum he can squeeze in there is 450w:

lolol so true Spook, honestly i only play fifa on xbox now, and even now the Fifa 12 demo is much better GFX wise than the xbox version, but still... im forced to play fifa on xbox because thats where my mates play! Damn Them!!!

Some people are pre-loading after they got given keys from Facebook.

Most of us are still waiting for the Beta emails to come through so we can add the game to Origin & then hopefully start to pre-load for 12pm start tomorrow

Yeah same here, had the email a while back but no idea what to do, so cheers. My 50mb internet will be maxed 2morrow i hope!
