Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

If it makes any difference they do not charge you until release. Also, I agree with DG regarding macros/mouse 'features' - anyone here who uses such rubbish is as bad as any hacker. I remember hearing the same excuses in CS when you could hack your config so that the enemy could appear as bright pink / texture hacks.

Same as the no recoil macros that you could use in CS. Its all cheating and every game has hacks

Doesn't mean any one game is more skillful than the other

Totally agree, I'm gonna get the standard version for £30 then when the next DLC comes out get the Premium subscription. Can't afford to splash out £85 in one go.

For what it's worth, the daily deals thread has a link to someone selling main game for £34 with the premium (5 DLC) bundle as a free preorder bonus.

Nobody here said they were using it, that wasn't the point we were arguing.

Anyways I've just pre-ordered, looking forward to trying the beta soon hopefully, can't be long now.

Seems too good to be true but the guy got confirmation from a rep by email. No doubt they will issue a correction once this has done the rounds on the internets. Doubt it will be honoured but the description refers to the "Five digital expansion packs".

On OCUK's own pre-order page (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CO-113-OK) it says:
Pre-order Offer:
Pre-order to receive a Battlefield 4™ Premium Expansion Pack
Surely just another mistake.

EDIT: competitor name removed.

If they don't honour it then they lose customers. Simples.

Can't be ****** giving my money to companies if they can't even do a bit of basic research into the products they sell.

Doubt it will be honoured but the description refers to:

Main game with premium for less than what original sell the standard game for - this is either the deal of the century or total rubbish.

EDIT: It states the saving is £10 which I think covers the difference between the original price for the standard game and what they are charging. I think the premium promotion is a mistake.

When they make a massive mistake like this and stand to lose tens (maybe hundreds) of thousands they won't care.

When companies make massive mistakes and imply they are going to give away £30 expansion packs the customers come second. Surely you've seen this when pricing mistakes go up on Hot UK Deals etc. ? they rarely get honored.

They are referring to the China Rising DLC which every pre order comes with. Unfortunately somebody who put it up on the website looks to have copied and pasted some of the stuff about BF4 premium membership by mistake.

I wonder how long before they realise what they have done is considered false advertising :o

False advertising is not the same as a mis print.

False advertising is deliberately misleading customers. If you make a mistake as a retailer like this, its perfectly fine to cancel everybodys orders, return their money, and inform them of the error and then correct the description on the website.

not very good illl play you what map whatever lol.

i can play decent at the game but because of how the game is i choose to just have fun shooting rockets and **** because the game isn't skillful and a mess.

half of people on here for eg play hc 64 man servers in a vehicle spamming spawn points that's not skill its pathetic but it is how the game is so you cant blame people for doing it.

if you want a game later ill play ya suarez no vehicle lows . you want a game ?

Just in case you couldn't decipher that drivel - in essence he's challenging you (Suarez) to a fight, as long as the constraints are exactly on his terms and the setup is the way he likes to play. He's says really good at BF3, he just chooses not to be. Also the fact that you can play the game with 64 players and use vehicles means the game is not skillful and anyone who plays like this is an idiot.

That's pretty much what he said, I think.

HAHAAHHAHAHAHAAHHAAHAHHH AHAHAHAHAHAHA AHAHAHHAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAHAAHAHHHAHAHAHAH]

so aim assist is not a hack ? :D cheers just laughed for like 5 minutes at that cheers. made me chuckle :p

you arnt allowed to use aim assist it is a instant ban ! in any game ! with any anticheat. as said you are clueless. you used to be able to do a lot of stuff simply in the configs or in mice like the pro noobs with aek who edited to have no recoil bind the buttons to up down left right so when fire doesnt recoil. ask someone who knows about it if you cant dont understand.

many people use mouse /mice hacks or have hacks in mice now.

also google roccat hacks or razer hacks. welcome to battlefield

What exactly is your point? If these things exist, surely they will exist in all your favourite games - COD, Hunter and DayZ and not JUST Battlefield?

Why is it any worse in BF than any other game?

Hopefully it runs well on our pc's. @psaccess on twitter is claiming its been confirmed the ps4 is getting 64 player maps and plays at 60fps. Wonder how much worse it'll look than the pc version.

Do you think the PS4 and XBone will be collectively pwned on Day One by PC?

Will be curious to see what happens, but if the consoles are running at 720p, I am gonna laugh my ass off.

Do we have any definite confirmation one way or the other that the OCUK once is (as expected) just the China Rising DLC? If it's not, and is actually the unlikely-but-amazing full premium pack, I will definitely cancel my other pre-order and order it here instead.

every pre order copy gets china rising. Its the same as with BF3 and Back 2 Karkand where all pre orders got B2K free.

Nobody has the full premium pack free, a competitor has made a slight error in their description, but they won't be honoring it. OcUk's page clarifies its only the one pack you get (China Rising) Not 5. The competitor who isn't name are saying 5 incorrectly.
