I haven't yet got access to the Beta and don't have W7 so I can't try it myself.

Maybe worth a try.
 
Absolutely loving the team stuff in the game. Def feels like it's been built from the ground up for team play. Have to agree with others on the slow pace/clunkiness of infantry combat though. Doesn't help that my frames keep dropping to sub 10 though :/

got a feeling that defuse is going to be the game type of choice for competitive with the slow pace/emphasis on tactics.

Also, not a fan of the map tbh. Conquest (32 man on 3 flag version is bearable) but 64 man 5 flag is an utter cluster****. Too much armour for my liking.

Edit: Also is it just me or is there auto aim in this game? sure feels like it.

That boat thing happened to me yesterday as well!
 
Has anyone had the bug where you die and then your screen does not come back to the respawn map? Workaround is to press escape, select resume and then the screen comes back.

Overall I'm enjoying it. I disabled MSAA altogether with everything except mesh on Low and now get solid 80fps which you really need for 120Hz for it to feel playable.

I agree with the others above, I desperately want to play the defuse mode on the island map that we have seen so much of. Fingers crossed!
 
Prefer 32 player Conquest over 64, but i would prefer 48 as it's a sweet spot for me.

Edit: No 48 player servers in beta, also bought the game last night from simplycdkeys, amazing deal, so feel free to add me to Origin if you want some decent teamwork games.

No issue with the new drivers for me.

Map design likely the best I seen in the battlefield series.
Havent played premium in BF3 cant say anything abut those but by far this is superb design.
 
Anyone having punk buster issues all of a sudden?

I played for 12 hours on Tuesday, no problem, but last night couldn't join a single server!

I kept getting punk buster error in that I needed to download it (already on my bloody PC!)

Anyone know a fix for this?

*EDIT* Contrary to a number of posts I have won over 80% of games, with a KD of 2.3 and half way to rank 6. I'm thoroughly enjoying it at the moment and agree that this is very Battlefield orientated :)

This, however, looks pretty fricking cool :)

I may have to partake in some free beta plappage on Friday. If, that is, the servers can take the stress of the gazillion extra players who all have the same idea! :D

Where is the best place to pre-order this? I have seen it on Amazon for £30.99, but I cant check the Origin site at work :( Is it any cheaper there?

Simplycdkeys, they have the standard edition & premium for £54.99.
 
48 is the sweet spot for servers for me too.

Always run that size apart from bf3 launch when we went full 64 on Caspian but we'll go 48 man again as it allows more room to move and always feels less spawn/die.

I had PB issues yesterday. I had to redownload the client and add BF4 as a game and it fixed it.
