I got the option to pre-load the day before, well that was when I checked Origin, it could have been earlier.
Tomorrow night is going to be interesting.
I think booze and BF4 (some trolling too) with newbies to BF4 will be on the agenda.
Wanted to troll two people this morning. On top of a building, parachuted behind them, realised i wasn't Recon =(, bottled knifing them as i could have looked a right prat if they countered, so i just shot them.

Looking forward to trying this tomorrow, I probably will not pre-load it though. Just rely on my 75Mb download and hope the servers aren't too slow.
Lol, quite often found myself with a similair dilema in bf3. As the knifing is a bit dodgy at times, it's much better to just shoot them.
Peeps with ultra fast broadband always like rub it in

Sitting here with 2.5mb with a hope my exchange gets upgraded next year.
And its really easy to counter in BF4, so I just shoot them now.

No pre-load planned for the open Beta tomorrow.
Will be fun trying to download from Origin tomorrow.
I presume nobody has tried that yet?
I used to do this when I was gaming at 2560x1600 with GTX480 because I was hitting the max ram for those cards. Disabling aero gives you more ram. I'm not getting close to this limit at 1920 X 1080 so I can't see it making any difference to my frames.

BATTLEFIELD 4 is SUPER SUPER smooth on Windows 8, Ive just tested it myself and it's like a completely new game.
Windows 7 IS the cause.
Oh and I have Windows 8 looking like Windows 7 with Start Button
Perhaps this is part of MS user adoption strategy?
