Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

They suck then mate. I'd say a good attacking, squad playing recon can change a game especially if working with others. It's about time they got C4 back, BF3 made them a camping class due to them not being useful around tanks.

Nope not taking my C4 away from me, love destroying tanks! Your Airburst is insane by the way, it's literally a Recon killer and if you unlock C4 later then it is all good.

Supposedly there is no bullet travel for this beta so I don't think you need to take into where someone is running, how fast they are going etc. Just aim a bit higher and fire :p

It's insanely good, especially as it can be used by all classes. It has a bit of recoil to it, but if you master it you'll be deadly.

I don't know to be honest, feels like there is travel. It could be why i can't hit anything but someone standing still or the odd hit when someone is running. I am sure i'll get used to it in time, just used to the BF3 mechanics and could literally hit 8/10 shots with a Sniper.

Well Wes your a rare/extinct breed. Most snipers do FA but camp and take cheapo shots while their team mates march into battle and take all the risk. Your the only commando sniper I've ever heard of, never actually seen one, it sounds great in principle.

Sounds more or less the same as it is in bf 3 then! :D ACWR in bf 3 was incredibly good for getting a lot of headshots

I hope DICE get the balance done really well with the weapons so that nothing "really" stands out over another weapon, sooooooo annoying how everyone in bf 3 just used m16 or the m416 :o


BTW another good way of dealing with those roof campers, get a friend on the enemy team, get him to place c4 down and then you shoot the c4 with a sniper rifle or whatever, easy kills :D :p Shosho on youtube just uploaded a video doing that :D

+1,
M16 or M416 God guns should definatley be nerfed in line with other elite assault weapons. The stakes are high and the weapons should be diverse and well balanced. The m16 has such a stigma because Dice dumbed it down /overpowered it, people nearly always abuse m16 users......Hopefully not this time round........

TBH I don't find the m416 or m16 "overpowered", they are just easy guns to use with regards to recoil management and good all round weapons, I just find it annoying be killed by the same weapon again and again when the game has tons of other weapons to use :o Personally find the AEK to be better and the F200 destroys them when it comes to CQ :D Not to mention the famas but the reload time for that is a joke!

Never really liked any of the support weapons, although used the m249 a **** load during beta and when the game was first released as it was incredibly overpowered especially with the IR sight....

Can not use the m60 at all :p :o

magnum and rex

Liked the an94 and and UMP a lot too. AUG was great and for some reason I always forget about that weapon (same happened in bc 2 too) so note to self, to use aug for a few rounds in bf 3 :p

Gone to play the game today to find the Multiplayer Beta missing. It just says I can pre-order it in Battlelog, can't find anywhere that I can play it anymore?

Isn't the point of a sniper to "Snipe" and of course recon targets and troop attacks ?

He wouldn't be a sniper if he ran in commando style, he'd be assault with sniper training and access to sniper weapons :)

Don't understand all this crying about sniper tactics but it's been there since BF1942 and it's obviously still here now in BF4.. ;)
