Also good to hear that there will be some sort of 'test zone' where you can go practicing flying aircraft etc. I've never really bothered with helis and planes in BF3 but will do so in BF4.
 
I have just finished building an 8350 system and using a 7970 it runs this very well. Tbh it's better than my 4670k system. I have loaned out my 4770k so cannot compare but so far I'm very impressed with this CPU.

Totally agree with the boats, had a round where I was driving around the map with a full boat delivering a lot of justice :)

Yes but that doesn't help the IDIOTS who crash heli's just to spawn on a roof top, I hate those type of players. The response is usually "So?"

Why not just use an empty serever? That is what I did when learning how to fly helicopters with K&M and when learning how to aim the MLRSs.

Yeh what I meant is that the BF4 runs allot better than I remember the BF3 beta.

One of the first things I do when a fresh map starts is fly the transport heli full of people to the building roof to cap it. Works almost every time so not sure what the issue it?

Nor mine. Still unplayable. Old quad cores not fairing well.

Shame as the game is looking good. More same old but thats what I like thumbs up for the bigger squads they definitely make it a better team play experience. Add to that the commander role (when its in) and a bigger sense of scale though I would hope this is one of the smaller maps.
 
The game is running really nicely for me on my pretty old rig now, i5 750 oc to 3.6ghz, 7850 oc 2gb, 8gb ram, w7 @ 1080P (medium settings and mesh set to ultra), just using latest stable ati drivers, not the beta ones.

Only problems I have are the ctds every 2-3 rounds and the odd bit of lag, today is much better than yesterday.


I think premium members will get to play paracel storm :(
 
I only started playing this yesterday and I was wondering how do you access the helicopters which are ontop of the skyscrapers. I've run around the building but I can't find the access point anywhere.
