Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

Heres the error I get regularly:

BF4 is a new install to a SSD, Reinstalled GFX Drivers has been replicated with 2 different GFX cards
Also tried reinstalling DirectX but says I have newer or equivalent.

This crash was also after using the optimise option from that AMD/Raptr doodah, fixed my mates crashes but not mine :(

Downclocking my card resolved this issue, might be worth trying that in Afterburner? not sure it will help with your card mind.
 
BF4 runs well, I easily get constant 50+ fps at 1440x900 everything on High on my old Q6600 rig!

'old' rig: Q6600, 6GB, Vertex 4, MSI 7950, Win7.
'new' rig: 2700K. 8GB, 840 Evo, MSI 7950, Win8. (not gamed on this yet!)

Anyone got a working BF4 stats site? bf4stats.com hasn't started yet! :(

You appear to be unbelievably cursed by this game and this release. I can only sympathise that you've run into pretty much every single issue they've had, repeatedly and continuously.

If it makes you feel any better (and I suspect it won't), I've played all but the last chapter of the Campaign on hard and reached rank 7 or so in MP playing multiple matches and game modes over several nights without a single crash, hang, server kick or anything else. This suggests they haven't put out a TOTAL cluster-badword of a program, as it does work for some setups, it's just the live-environment release that's making it such a pain.

the only real issue I've come across, is the first time I tweaked a kit (added a newly unlocked carbine to my engi kit) it reset all my others to basic - no gadgets, most basic wepaon with no addons. I only found out when I switched to recon to discover I had a bolt action rifle with iron sights, no heli-spotter thing and no C4 :(

Sorted it by making cutom loadouts for all my kits, but it was still rather annoying mid-game.

Getting Slightly annoyed at BF4 now aswell.

Maps seem very boring now, BF3 had much better maps in it. Had a match last night on the resort complex one where there seemed to be just vehicle spam constantly.

Only maps I really like at the moment is the railway and the tank graveyard (cant remember the names).

Also weapon's seem to be hit or miss half the time, hit somone 8 times and they turn round and kill me in a split second :s

Agree on the Resort map being a pure Vehicle whore map, I already want DLC As i know the China Rising maps will be much better
 
Just went 27 kills in a boat lol.

I had the boat twice the 7 deaths in between were on land xD.

I go 2vs1 in the boat and wipe them both out every time its happend haha.

I have been vocal about the crashing issue I have been having with this game.

I can safely say I have fixed it.

The issue is when using the M320LVG and so on - as single or uderslung which causes the game to crash back to desktop with "battlefield 4 has stopped working"

Use the battlelog to remove this from your load-out and this will fix the issue.

This will not fix your issue if you're NOT a tubing ***** like me. But I'm sorry snipers deserved to be tubed across the map.

I've unparked my cores everytime i install the OS since not long after W7 came out.
There were a few older games that ran better so its just one of those things i've done. Not sure if it makes a difference these days though.
 
Please stop talking about BF4 until wednesday, in fact if you could all stop playing until then that would be great...

I hate I'm instantly addicted again!!! :mad:

Totally understand what you mean Will.. Played for a few hours last night for the first time since Thursday night.. I had to force myself to get off to do some work..

Now sitting here thinking I could have one go before I get ready for work...

Time to shut the PC off if I want to stay in a job I think :)
