Well at least infantry has a role on those maps and made up for some interesting fights.
These open maps you need to be in a vehicle or cap a point as infantry and get sniped by limpdick in the bushes or raped by an incoming vehicle.
Game needs a mixture of those sort of maps. Just like BF3 had caspian , firestorm etc for vehicles and some maps where infantry had a role.

Guilin Peaks looks like the map I'll play most out of those 4. Dragon Pass looks OK but I can't see myself playing the other 2 much unless I fancy getting raped by tanks and snipers.
Guilans Peak is the only one that looks anything other than completely meh to me and even that looks like its had a severe case of consillitis :|
Seriously hate the lack of a level editor I've got a few pretty decent designs kicking around that I didn't do for COD4 as the game was getting a bit too long in the tooth by that point to invest time on a more complex map build :|

I wonder how long it took DICE to come up with that Silk Road map?
Nope I hate floodzone, movement though the map is disjointed and not much fun and if your team is stupid the other team gets snipers established on the tower block in the middle and dominate and you can't do much about it as people keep derping the helis rather than clearing them off.

Was too busy getting killed.Had a great round with setter, but...

. Took me two or three rounds to get into the swing of things. Found all those rounds to be very laggy and reg was woeful. Tbh its the worst ive seen in bf4 yet. But i do still find it much harder to hit people in this than i did in bf3/bfbc2 even when things are running smoothly.Was too busy getting killed.
It happened on a number of occasions to me as well!
1) Guy runs towards me head on, I shoot at him directly in the face, he still runs at me and is able to do a front on knife attack. Thankfully I hit F and did a counterknife. But still he should never have survived even getting close
2) Helicopter goes down and one guy parachutes directly in front of me(again), My M4 is pointing at his nose then his body while constantly shooting even in mid flight->ground. He kills me and is still at 100 health!
It doesn't matter what your ping is, what the network slider is at or what the server is doing, there are times when the game just does not register any damage has taken place
p.s The biggest *** take was being killed up to 2 SECS around a corner from a guy shooting at me
