I assume you can't obtain the desired result just using the in-game settings?

Your in game brightness setting should do this. I assuming you have it on max and it's not bright enough for you?
 
I've noticed that nearly 3/4's of my server faves are now permanently empty even at peak times of night and a surge of cheaters :(

The double XP event due shortly, do our battlepack xp boosts work during this ?

This is what I am getting even after reinstalling the game and all the ping boxes are blank for some reason.

 
Well been playing a lot of COD, but going to re-install BF3 plus the newer BF4+CR.

Looking forward to it prior to this my GPU was a Toxic 6950/70 with a 24" monitor, but running Sli 670 + 27" 2560x1440 monitor.

Brightness is ok to be honest, its more a colour and contrast bump i'm after. I can change my settings via NVCP or the monitor has different profiles for games. (XL2420T) But both ways involve me doing it manually....

Usually i change the profile on my monitor, Its just me being lazy and wondering if there's a way to do it so i dont have to manually change it each time. It would be nice if i can start the game and the brighter settings are applied, when i quit the game the normal desktop settings are restored. :)

Hope that makes sense.

it is only a single button to press on that monitor to change the profile, yea would be nice if you could get it done automatically....but it is just one button xD (well, one of 3 profile buttons)

I unlocked these the other day, whats the deal with them ?

Do they not just lock on like other missiles ? or does the pilot get no warning and just gets hit ?

they are fire and forget, you fire them in the direction of an aircraft...they wander off untill it finds a target within its own range then locks itself on. It gives the pilot very little warning, a few seconds tops, most of the time 1-2 seconds of tone before the things hit. they are mad! especially with the AA where you can use the gun, fire off two, keep gunning, then fire another two and continue to gun or look off at other targets. great to use, sucks to have them used against you xD

We notice the same.

Our 64man full hardcore seems to fill fine, so do normal it seems.

But our 48 man custom is a pain to get started nowadays, which basically has the BF3 HC settings.

This game is doomed tbh by retarded decisions from DICE not having a clue really, and being to stubborn to take advice from people that know their stuff when it comes to gameplay, yet listening to moany people on Battlelog.
