Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

what does everyone reckon they'll be on tonight? Misses wants to sit down and watch some sort of horror film called Mama and I'm under order to spend some quality time with her :( guess I cant complain , I've lived on BF4 the last week or so. But will jump on later for a few games when shes getting sleepy hehe.
 
Does anyone else get this bug? For Engineer, I use the MP7 suppressed. After almost every game it resets all of my attachments etc. but only for the MP7, it doesn't seem to do it for any of my other weapons or loadouts.

Particularly annoying when you think you're using a suppressed weapon but of course you're not because the game has changed it back to default yet again. I'm sure with all of their ongoing problems this is way down their list but it is so annoying. And why does it only happen for that one weapon?

I love how you sound so desperate to avoid spending time with your other half to play Battlefield :p
 
I really wish you could buy BF4 on Steam and not Origin, I find Origin experience so poor it makes me want to remove the game and just play something else / kill myself.

IE as my default browser = SSO doesn't work and it won't let me log on
Chrome as my default browser = "Joining server" (nothing happens).

Punkbuster is up to date, game has been repaired with no issues found and nothing has changed yet I'm unable to join any games.

This is after I couldn't log on for hours yesterday, I've enabled dual factor authentication, and for some reason it wanted a security code after loading Origin. No problem? So I waiting for the code to be emailed, nothing. Ended up having to speak to EA live support after spending about 20 minutes navigating one of the poorest websites I've ever seen. It's okay though, the email(s) turned up about 12 hours later :)

Anyone else HATE Origin? Oh... and anyone else seeing "Joining Server"?
 
AMD Mantle for Battlefield 4 Delayed into the New Year

Today we got this official statement from AMD:

After much consideration, the decision was made to delay the Mantle patch for Battlefield 4. AMD continues to support DICE on the public introduction of Mantle, and we are tremendously excited about the coming release for Battlefield 4! We are now targeting a January release and will have more information to share in the New Year.

That's server lag, and why the game is running 60 fps should on your client. Nothing you can do about that and happens on console servers too.

Assuming that's what you were implying about fps not being the cause

cracking fun tonight, cheers guys, dont think the badass MG clan will sleep well tonight. Loosing 1 game with 200 tickets advantage and stacking our side with a ringer in the AA was bad enough...but Josh leading a platoon of teabaggers to a dead corpse in amongst some good old fashion banter, was the icing on the cake. Hope someone recorded that one :)
