1097 at stock on my rev 1, no idea if this is in the ballpark for this version. I will be adding another at some point which will mean likely having to go for the rev 2. It uses x2 8 pin pcie, 6 and 8 on mine. Unsure wether a ghz model can be sli'd with either.

I might be, not sure. This is the 1st NYE in in maybe 10 years I've actually got no plans, and to be quite honest, I don't like the feeling. I might need to go out and so something lol.

I came in the top ten in a game the other night...
I'm getting better but still stand no chance against the kids with fast reactions.
Its really not a twitch game, most of it comes down to knowing the maps and not running around corners only to die

Yep, shanghai and paracel are the best maps for testing as i find them the most demanding, particularly the former after the tower collapses.

I agree, but I'm waiting for the modmics to be in stock and then I'll order one. Unfortunately their supply chain appears to be as useful as a pair of high-heeled flip flops.

I had it 3 or 4 times tonight, and my graphics cards are not overclocked.
It's very random though. I can play for ages just fine, but sometimes it'll happen during two games in a row.

Yeah. Nex always uses commorose and battlechat. A mike is handy but not needed.

Play BF and don't know what commo rose is........... GTFO!
Played with the ak5c for a bit tonight (needed a change from the usual ace 21) and I forgot just how much of a beast it is, even though the stats aren't as good as ace 52 and ace 21, there is just something about it that makes it seem nice/fun to use.
I really want some more infantry focused maps, getting fed up with how all maps are vehicle and engi dominated now. Need some good old bazaar, CQ and AM map action! Instead we get crappy maps in second assault (except caspian, although it looks worse than the original.......)
BC 2 - mainly an infantry player (bit of everything but primarily recon with vss, c4 and motion balls) and a mini gun whore in the black hawk (so bloody lethal that thing, could easily get 70+ kills with that on HC in rush mode [should have seen the hackusations, makes bf 4/3 hackusations look pathetic] unlike the marshmallow mini gun that we have now.......)
BF 3 - mainly an infantry player (mostly medic)
BF 4 - purely engi and tank player (only time I am support or assault/medic is on floodzone, locker)
TBH, I'm quite tempted to install bf 3 on my other drive just to play some CQ and AM maps.........

Personally i think the game is very buggy, but they will perhaps get it ok eventually. Bf3 is running ok, yes it only took two years but it still uses client side detection. So you still get delayed kills and cover death. But it's a much smoother game, it's still no bfbc2 but it does ok. Bf4, very much a work not in progress.

Just add me i like a bit of tdm as long as its a higher ticket server , dont do the 100 ones as you cant get a rythym going. Forum name for origin.
