I'm still unable to connect. Just me?

Edit. I had to sign out of the battlelog page, not just restart Origin. Seems OK.
 
I'm still unsure about the best weapon for the attack choppers. I've been trying the DAGR rockets and they seem much more powerful but the spread is all over the place.

I've also noticed that you can swap the heat seekers for TOW missiles but they're very difficult to use and can't really be aimed in the same way as they can from a LAV for example. Could be useful if you can guarantee someone will be lasing targets or you have good AA coverage.
 
Yeah watched his feed a bit during the beta.

Bah just loaded up battlelog and all my loadouts have reset... ffs. not sure if it will sort itself later or if I'm gonna have to redo em all :|

Would be more impressive if he didn't have 2 engineers saving his ass after he's bumped into something for the umpteenth time. In the few mins I've watched of him though he manoeuvres well its really the engineers keeping him in the air. And does he really need a green screen version of himself overlaid onto the video?
 
our whole team was pretty good to be fair, we seemed to work well together. Apart from the last game where Raider in the air and both Nexus and Patsy in the armour was always going to dominate.
 
GG's lads, we did a cracking job for 3/4 maps! All about teamwork.

Nice to see some new names on the squad, leon get yourself on our TS.

86JR and Nexus enjoy my tags, I will when I eventually get yours!

As for Joe calling in the big guns and team stacking - no comment :D
 
Agree Josh, good to not be a dalek on ts anymore as well, damn drivers and bf4 op

Although sniping isn't for me, quite enjoyed the change of pace. Long distance sniping I'm not to good at but medium distance is alright. I hit with 80 shots out of 173 with a load of swede shots. Points are pretty easy to come by with recon I found.

Domination is actually much worse than TDM! Just spawn die on domination and more camping.....

Lol netphreak, think I got you about 3-4 times in the space of 1 min on rogue trying to jihad "quad" me :D Josh and someone else nearly got me around C but dodger saved my ass :D

Been using the mg4 instead today and it sounds so NICE especially with a silencer :cool: Beast just like the m249.

****ing despise roof campers and people who steal vehicles! Jump out of tank to repair on siege there and some ****er just takes it :mad:

Just proves what I have been saying, high ranks on one team isn't stacking and doesn't necessarily mean an easy landslide win ;) Think you guys won 3 matches and by quite a bit too! The rest of our team was utterly useless, I think your team had a few players on roofs on dawnbreaker or/and spawn beacons as we couldn't hold any flag, as soon as we clear it/capture, drive of, 3 seconds later it is flashing again.

We also had no commander on dawnbreaker :( Hope DICE does something about that as having a good commander is a huge advantage to the team, the EMP and scan UAVs is a god send!

Even a bad commander can give you that, but there doesn't seem to be any acknowledgment of that from 90%+ of the players out there.

I've been trying to get the commander assignments done in the last few days, and it's really brought home how atrocious most players are at working together. Almost all my orders are ignored, even if i put an order on a flag squads are already running to. And most squads are spread over the map on anything other than op locker - if a squad isn't working together, how can I as a commander make any sensible decisions about how to influence the battle? Do i drop supplies for the sniper doing something half useful when the rest of his squad won't spawn near him to do the same? Or do i promote a squad leader who takes an order but doesn't accept it, and is lone wolfing?

Do people just not realise that accepting an order, even if they aren't going to do it, gets everyone more points, and specifically it allows the commander to give out more perks more frequently? (Don't get me started on people who ignore orders for the gunship or cruise missile flags in favour of taking a flag with nothing attached, or the enemy teams gimme flag which they will never be able to hold)

Any tips on being a more effective commander and getting the squads to actually work together? I've had maybe two games where i had a couple of squads working with me, on op locker CQL, and we had the enemy pushed back into spawn with less than 80 tickets down - it was awesome, but then really boring with not much to do for the next 10 mins.
 
I thought i'd join you guys last night as I saw you'd actually split between the teams, which I prefer so you can have some banter and try to nick some tags. Dont like it when theres 6-9 guys team stacking a server , I find it a little OP and often empties servers or leads to one side dominating. Having said that we got our backdoors kicked in for a few rounds :eek: Well played

Me and Joe holding the tower cos it was pointless trying to cap flags as were getting mullered. Good bit of fun and I think we could have held it forever but I ran out of ammo and was throwing some boiling oil and rocks down at the end :D Was dying to come down the stairs and teabag skeletor and netphreak but knew there was a few pesky snipers out there

That was Netphreak was it , a crazy quad driver doing doughnuts all round us , nice big explosions though , im sure at one point i saw a body go a few hundred feet in the air :p

I do nothing but watch the drivers back and sides when gunning. Mostly just watch to see where the drivers turret is facing and look the oppo direction. Had a bit of panic as I was overheating there when I got Netphreak trying the dirty c4 but luckily I spam Q constantly and you turned the gun round to take out 2nd guy.

Havnt used the mg4 yet might give that a go today. I also tried the l85 yesterday and it wasnt too bad. Need a couple more attachments to make it better but it has potential to be my number 2 AR.
