Hmm... Win 8.1 does help and my laptop (Razer Blade with GTX 660m) is actually very smooth despite it's lack of graphical power compared to a proper GTX 670.
I may just build a new pc and put Win 8.1 on it, and use this as a server.

Game runs nicely for me on:
i5 750 OC to 3.6GHz
8GB RAM
7850 OC 2GB
1080P
W7
But then I do only run on low/off settings except for mesh
It could be smoother though, still need to get around to putting 8.1 on! Has the mouse lag for older games or whatever been fixed?

That Eizo 120/240hz monitor has a VA panel in it so would have the good colour reproduction like an IPS.
My i7 920 is only at 3Ghz but its due to heat reasons as the case is small with rubbish air flow and there's also 3 HDD's in there as well heating things up.
Anyhow, we had some interesting rounds there. Really think we should have been able to win Zavod. We always seemed to have 2-3 players less than the other side which didn't help matters.
My stats are bottoming out can't play the game now unless I've had a few drinks, I usually play games to unwind a bit and its driving me up the wall instead seriously need another game to come out thats similiar and active to get my fix.

At the same time I would also like a res. higher than 1080P! I love how sharp the nexus 7 2013 is compared to my dell u2311h.

Our team were useless right up to the last 10 min or so.We had quite a lot more revives than the enemy team too!

I was thinking of buying cs:go in the sale, but no point as I suck so much at css
Ended up just playing on rpg/upgrade servers and kicked ass with my unlimited vampire health regen, invisibility, speed etc.

my online fix is really just BF4 at the moment, but I love it.
I also started playing DayZ about 6 weeks ago, the Arma2/Dayz mod not the standalone, and I really enjoyed that. I'm kinda waiting on the standalone getting to a point where it is really really good, at the moment it looks just meh. CS I've always thought to be really gash, never got into it, hate the feel of it. L4D as well I thought was totaly crud, can't stand how the zombies feel and the lack of a decent story. Not fussed on the whole drop 4 players into a world spread of 6 different chapters with no narrative.
So, I'm happy with BF4 at the moment, more than happy. I'll get The Division, and GTA 5 if it ever drops on PC, and then the big one is Star Citizen. But that's all I'm kinda interested multiplayer wise.

I know I've not played with you lot much yet, but im still enjoying BF4.
however I can't wait for the division and Titanfall which I think will be massive if done properly.
Im also a paid contributor or whatever your meant to be called for Star Citizen, but i don't think we will be seeing it any time soon anyway.

was there an nvidia driver update last night? had a notification from the experience program.
I set it to download and then do a custom installation but it would go to "preparing installation" and then tell me the download was corrupt. spent a few mins looking how to redownload it through experience but couldn't find any option....then the update vanished and said I was up to date again on the same drivers I was on before xD

I had that problem telling it to do automatic installation. WEnt through fine on custom installation.
I was thinking of trying dayz etc. but far too many people are complete and utter ******** in that game

Will have to get around to installing it then and get a 240GB SSD too, Only got 40GB left on my 120GB atm and we haven't even got the second DLC pack for BF 4 yet!

I just had a game where I was in the AA on Lancing dam, with those active missiles and the 20mm cannons (dont like the 30mm ones as there doesnt seem to be as much a wall of lead flying towards the target) I basically chopped down 40 vehicles and died just once.
there are still some issues with mice so id personally go win 8.0 which has none.
i have run it on win 7 , 8.0 and 8.1 . id choose 8.0 myself.
