The class system feels outdated at this point. They should consider adopting a hero-style specialist approach instead.
Each specialist could have their own unique abilities, making gameplay more dynamic.
To add personality, they could have edgy catchphrases they shout out during the round or at the intro and end of each match.

I still cannot believe they thought that was a good idea to include as a post game outro quip that the whole lobby can hear.
High hopes, even the one they released several months back does next to nothing.
Let me guess, we will at some point (yet again) get another wake island remake, that in 2025 will somehow still not have the Naval capabilities that we had back in 2002.
I really think Dice have yet to clue into this fact, part of what made Wake island fun was the fact we had destroyers, aircraft carriers and submarines to play with, which, when used right had a big effect on the gameplay of that map. Anytime they release that map without those assets it's just 'meh'. Destroyers pummelling the island while being chased down by subs and aircraft carriers trying to steer clear of both. Yet somehow with these new engines they seem incapable of doing that these days.
To be honest, I think Carrier Assault from BF4 is Battlefield's best ever game mode, it's a shame that there's never any servers hosting it
