Battlestar Galactica (now containing quite minor spoilers)

Dannyjo:

They were Cylons from the very beginning, no humans lived on that planet, they were the colony that left for 'Earth' was a colony of Cylons.

They developed regeneration as a means of saving themselves from impending civil war. The civil war started and the planet was decimated. They then travelled to the colonies and gave regeneration to the Cylons in order to encourage peace.

Thanks Steeteh...

Does this get explained better later on for the slow like me :D
Where do the humans come into it then. Where were the humans that originally developed the cylons. I thought the planet they regened from was earth? So were there humans on there originally, they created the cylons got wiped out and the cylons left when they had a civil war?

I might have to have read of a BSG wiki when I'm done :D

Hmm looks a bit like the cut scenes from Wing Commander 3 and 4 if you ask me! Not sure if all digital is the way to go but I understand why they did it from a budget perspective.

Doesn't look like anything has changed to me. They said they were turning the pilot into webisodes and not picking it up for a series ages ago.

The only hope it has now is if it pulls in high numbers when they get round to airing the full episode next year. And remember it's Syfy, so it would probably get cut short after a season anyway.

So about Blood & Chrome... from what I understand, the two hour pilot is being split up into ten 7-12 minute webisodes on Machinima's YouTube channel. Then the full two four pilot will be broadcast on Syfy, and then they'll release on DVD/Blu-ray. No doubt after they have all been shown on youtube, someone will stitch them together and make a torrent before the Syfy and home media release.

This is all well and good, but... this is all only talking about the two hour pilot. What's the story with then the actual series?
