BBC Model B Computer "stuff"

Ive got 2 bbc micro B's my self, one is an ex school machine and has lots of extra boards in it for extra roms like the speech. Ive also a twin disc drive with them and the mmc adapter for them.
I would like to get hold of a acorn archimedes a4000 as we had one when i was a kid.
I use a Commodore 1084s monitor to play them on. Not long after i got things hooked up the bbc power supply went up in smoke so i repaired thay, then the monitor lopt and HOT failed but luckily i managed to repalce thsi my self then i found a guy who also added a scart connector to it as my model didnt come with one. Its agreat monitor.

Tough to get those machines in working order these days - after around 10 years or so a lot of them get corrosion eating through the mainboard - in some cases due to the battery leaking. Especially if they've not been stored in good conditions - sadly my old Acorn computers were shoved in a draughty loft when I moved out and when I came back a few years later they were all dead.

I was looking around for an A5000 for awhile but in the end settled for running an emulator (fortunately I dumped some ROMs back in the day).

ive not been too serious about looking for one yet as my desk is a bit of a mess with a dreamcast i need to reassemble and other bits and pieces. once its all sorted i might start actively looking out for one.
