BBC set to drop Neighbours

Since I started working I can't watch it anyway. No chance of watching at 1:45 or whatever it is and good luck getting home from work for 5:30!

who??? (excluding Kylie of course!)

I stopped watching it when 'Plain Jane Superbrain left'

Sarah was the hot secretary that Karl Kennedy had an affair with.

Delta Goodrem (Nina in the show?) wasn't there for very long... she's a pretty talented musician. :o

Holly Valance played Steph's sister (Flick) in the show, she was very hot in the school uniform.

Carmella is the hottie turned nun turned hottie again. (she was still hot dressed as a nun)

When I stayed in halls in first year at uni, there was a mass rush to get to the dining hall at 6pm, just after neighbours finished. It was so popular that I actually got into it myself for a couple of years. I don't watch it anymore, but it would suck to have more programs going to IVT/C4 with adverts.

I'm sure I remember reading that the amount of people who watch Neighbours in the Uk is greater than the entire population of Australia. Go figure.

Right, hopefully every channel tells Fremantle where to go and Neighbours disappears. There's enough atrocious acting shown on TV from all the UK soaps without importing more of it.

At that kind of money I really hope the BBC don't get it and produce some better shows.

Then again I think it would be good news if they just scrapped the whole thing!

as a student i used to watch it twice a day!

well worth the money...

Helen Daniels.... hmmmmmmmm!!

:D

£70k a episode is actually quite cheap compared to making a program to fill that slot.

With any luck five will buy it up. That's a good way to make it disappear altogether. :D
