Personally I think there are more worth candidates out there.

Our GB mountain bikers have completely dominated the sport for example, this year saw one of our girls become World Cup champ and world champ in downhill. We had a tb women's 1,2,3 at the worlds and a men's 1,2 as well as a men's world cup champ.
