Dre Dre made us do it when he visited he called us all chumps and said we gotta get down with him and his homies. He even called gibbo a rude word.....

Panasonic RP-HTF600-S cost me £30 about 5 year ago and been used virtually everyday.

Best thing I've ever bought for the price and sound better than my Sennheiser HD595's in my opinion, which cost me over around £120

Oh lol hahaha those "facts" surprised you aren't in sound city sharing your wealth of knowledge and experience with the other music fans.

I was going to come back at this but then thinking about it I really don't see the point lol. They're absolutely ridiculous in every way lol really theres no reason to defend myself or argue about it.

Seriously, Rich and James, why are you trying to make our company more successful by opening up previously unexplored avenues and trying new things? It's despicable behaviour and you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves for offering the worlds most sold headphone range at very competitive prices. Why not Grados?

This is a discussion forum isn't it? There is going to be a wide variety of opinions on Beats. I personally wouldn't buy them as i feel they are not good value for money, when considering there are other headphones which offer much more sound clarity.

That said if you want headphones which are overloaded with bass, beats are for you. £250 for bass and a logo. Not for me.

I thought this was a joke at first. I can understand that there are people out there that will pay for this kind of junk, and if there is demand business will provide a supply, however if you're wondering whats polarizing opinion then its because you're OCUK, and its kind of weird your offering this kind of thing for sale at all.

You have an image of a company that sells enthusiast grade PC gear.

Feels kind of dirty.

Afraid I have to agree totaly

+1

I also have to agree...

To think I come here in full trust on the understanding I am going to be provided the best products on the market at reasonable prices (unless overclockers buys up all the first stock, which does happen at times). I rely on this store/forum to give me valid answers on my hardware questions and requirements from the products that are on offer.

As already stated that this is an effort to increase the business by expanding into selling some of the best selling headphones. However, a lot of enthusiasts are fully aware that there are far better alternatives and for much better prices.

Wouldn't it be better to offer the customers the better products in the first place and maintain the respect of customers and earn money from this built up rapport, or go and sell anything that is trending and loose the specialist/elite/enthusiast reputation?

Beats are not specialist/elite/enthusiast/studio headphones.

Beats are questionably stylish and are a rip-off in terms of value for money.

Beats are currently trending... mainly to people who are none-the-wiser?

So are Overclockers providing for the mass-market or the niche enthusiast market?

ps... looking forward to the Shure's, AKG's, Beyer's etc that you will be bringing soon.

:D It is its also the news deals and special offers section where normally people post honest and informed opinions based on real world experience and understanding. :) Like you have.

And yes I can understand why some of you don't understand why we are trying to increase our customer base and drive traffic to our website by listing a small selection of an incredibly popular headphone. I don't however understand why this alarms you, as if you're a true audio head you would probably be adverse to our choices to offer Razer and Corsair Audio Or any gaming audio with a handful of exceptions. Again Corsair is a brand that sells if we don't sell it to the customer someone else will and whilst they are at it they might buy the rest of their stuff from that someone else. Same with Razer and even to an extent Logitech. When we stopped selling Logitech (for reasons explained elsewhere) We lost Logitech customers to rivals.

We have catered for the masses on several occasions since this company started we've also strived to bring you superior alternatives. Looks at Ducky and DAS Keyboard or Zowie mice.
