And the sad thing is the haircut probably cost more than what it would cost Apple to make the headphone that he trys ti immitate :D

You need to define superior first. And iOS is only available to apple products at the moment so it is really no comparison to other phones. I don't think apple did much more marketing than, say, Samsung? But Beats on the other hand is pure marketing as it doesn't hold anything unique as iOS to iPhones.
 
The way I see this, Dr Dre is a complete ******* for putting these out in the first place. Seriously not cool + the price is hilarious considering they look like something you'd get free from a promotion on a box of rice krispies.

Apple don't really need marketing, so long as they got their iOS update doing the amazing job of crippling performance of their older phones and return customs from their loyal fanbase like drug-addicts :p

But nothing comes out when they move their lips Just a bunch of gibberish ppl want to forget about dre



seriously though they are not to your taste we get it but they are still the best selling headphone brand in the world and hating Dr Dre won't change that. He's made money because he caught everyone sleeping on their laurels, and now we see every headphone brand trying to come up with their version to recoup some of the pie they didn't even know existed.


I'm sure being Hip Hops first Billionaire makes him really sad that you don't like him or his beats.

Well, it really doesn't matter too much of what we think or if we don't like Beats or think they are not worth the money, as forum users are not really your main target to sell these anyway, as majority of the members are not in the 14-20 age range I would imagine...

Making them look more attractive on the storefront is probably more important.

Lol Hip Hop died long ago, back before it was a billion dollar industry.

Posting your troll like images in support of the guy comes across pretty lame. Fair enough you're trying to sell these but don't delude yourselves into thinking they represent a worthwhile investment. They're rubbish headphones with a ridiculous price tag, liking/disliking the guy aside - thems the facts.

I can understand that there are people out there that will pay for this kind of junk, and if there is demand business will provide a supply, however if you're wondering whats polarizing opinion then its because you're OCUK, and its kind of weird your offering this kind of thing for sale at all.

Lets be honest, the products are awful. Lots of people purchased into these because the marketing was fantastic. Anyone who appreciates audio will/should never waste money on these.

Oh lol hahaha those "facts" surprised you aren't in sound city sharing your wealth of knowledge and experience with the other music fans.

but anyway ignoring that lets deal with some facts.

1. The op was written with more sarcasm in it than you can shake a stick at.
2. Myself and Rich are reasonably well versed in our products and over the last year have worked closely with the lovely guys in soundcity to meet some of their needs and integrate a better range of audio equipment this has led us both down expensive paths where we have invested in equipment that cost enough and gave us a reasonable understanding of the headphone scene and how it works.
3. Dre beats are the best selling headphones in the world That is a fact. Like it or not Dr Dre hit the nail on the head filled a gap and brought Better (that iphone iems)quality audio to the masses in a fashionable way.


for those like a nice pair of headphones then we stock a few that do cut the mustard Like sennhesiers HD 598 or 650's We're currently working on expanding the range to other brands like Shure and AKG and Beyerdynamic so don't panic if beats aren't for you hopefully OcUK can help you out in the future.

Wow. Why are you stocking this junk?

I have actually listened to Beats cans, and they really are compatible to headphones which cost about 25% as much.

I particularly liked how the £350 pair I tried were worse than my £50 Koss headphones. :rolleyes:
