Heh. Was going to reply seriously to that until I noticed who posted it. Decided instead to just lol.

Oh sorry, does your hypocrisy prevent you from answering?

You do realize that entire passage of drivel you wrote, I could literally take, change "Islam" for "Christianity" and it would be pretty much exactly the same crap we did to people.

It's hilarious that you refuse to even acknowledge it, while shining a giant light on the fact the Muslim faith has been twisted by extremists in order to radicalize people into actions they would never normally take. - In much the same way Christianity was "twisted" to justify mass murder of hundreds of thousands of people.

no true Muslim like there is no true Scotsman :p

(I agree btw!)

I don't see you shouting about how the "True Christians" tried to stand up against the twisting of Christianity to justify mass murder during the Crusades. Where is all the ire for the "True Christians" that failed to prevent things like ..."People are being beheaded, stoned to death for blasphemy, murdered in honour killings, and all sorts of good stuff." ??

People be acting like their **** don't stink the same as everyone else's. You guys need to take a look at our own history for a while, eh?

I think the general objection here would be that the Bible, the NT specifically, doesn't condone or promote the things that Christians did i.e. there isn't scriptural support as such whereas in Islam there is some scriptural support in the Quran and Hadith a taking a more...aggressive stance.

The NT is quite literally a "man-edited" version of the "Lords Book". At that point it (should have) lost all credibility as a source of faith, because it has been molested by man.

Go read all the fire, brimstone and death parts of the OT and then try to tell me Christianity is all about being kind to thy neighbor while keeping a straight face...

There are no true Christians, and there aren't true Muslims either, because the truth is very much subjective in most cases. That's coming from me, somone who was a Muslim for 27 years.

I did say NT specifically.

You get no argument from me on that one :) People are people.. Some are ********, some aren't.. but EVERYONE's **** stink's the same. So the "holier than thou" attitude on display by so many in here (not you specifically btw) is a pretty repulsive reflection of the way people see themselves.

That and the fact that the last crusade was over 700 years ago. Not exactly recent :p

fair enough :)

I know and I addressed that and countered it with my comments regarding it being edited by man.

The NT is like "the Bible - for kids" with all the scary stuff taken out so it looks all friendly.

But that makes it NO LONGER the words of god, it makes it an edited version. edited by man, for their own purposes.

Simply put, the NT is fake news, long before Social Media and Trump were ever a thing.

Never mind a bit of crucifixion and Revelations, etc.

They are all "man edited" though. In fact, they're all "man created" too.

"Four close relatives of the attacker were detained soon after the attack. Five more were detained overnight, including the father of a pupil at Paty’s school, College du Bois d’Aulne, and an acquaintance of the pupil’s father known to the intelligence services, the anti-terrorism prosecutor said."

"A tenth person was placed in custody in connection with the attack later on Saturday, BFM TV said, citing judicial sources."

Looks to be a terrorist cell.

I hope France deport those who they can.

The arguments pro and anti on religion in this thread leads to only one conclusion.

'A plague on all your houses'.
