Belgian Grand Prix 2014, Spa-Francorchamps - Race 12/19

If Rosberg was making a point then he should have done it when he was alongside Hamilton a few races ago and Hamilton edged him off the track. That always annoys me, drivers should get to the edge of the track and not move any further. That's when they should hold their ground.

Rosberg said after than instance he would not be moving again. When he had just his front wing there was not the time to make a point.
Hamilton did not edge him off, he kept to his line, just like he did today. Rosberg needs to understand that drivers are not going to just move off their line to let him through. Until then he'll just go on acting like the spoilt little brat that he is blaming everyone else and admitting no fault for his actions.

Lmao, talk about two ways of saying the exact same thing.

Not really. Not backing out is quite different to deliberately crashing into him. One is refusing to yeild a situation you have been put in, while the other is deliberately creating a situation.

I know but people in general and on here say they do

People in this country say they do.

There's always one car which suffers more than the other. Raikkonen at McLaren. Montoya at Williams. Webber pre-2014 in every car he ever drove. Vettel at Red Bull this year. Go back as far as you want - it's usually a similar story throughout most motorsport series.

There's seldom a year goes by where teammates have an identical number of failures.

Agreed, Hamilton is mentally fragile to the point I can't remember an F1 champion so mentally weak. He has clearly targeted this because lets be frank it's the only place Rosberg has a chance. Yet he has done it in the most epically stupid way and made himself the *****.

Far better to apologise to Hamilton publicly and give him a wink after the briefing. That would have got under his skin far more.

Yeah its a pretty stupid, hot headed thing to do. There are far easier ways to get under Hamilton's skin.

It doesn't matter, if you are alongside you can't then continue on the racing line and edge a driver off the track. As vettel found out when he edged alonso out. He got away with it for the same reasons Rosberg got away with it today. Same team and they wouldn't have protested too hard.

.

Hamilton, weak? Are you seriously saying that, the one that's wants to do the driver, the other thinks he's making a point by taking him out of the race.

Its getting painful reading your posts.

Then use ignore. It's painful because you love him.

It's pretty damn obvious hamilton is mentally fragile. Christ the ladyboy split up with him and he fell apart and played the little boy lost for 3/4's of a season. The one year he seemed mentally strongest was with ironically Alonso, since then he's so easy to rattle apart. He needs an arm around him far too much for a world champion.

He is weak and he lets other drivers get into his head, he doesn't seem to understand the mind games at all. He will always be the victim because he sets himself up to be one thus for somebody in f1 he is very naive. Thus I am not surprised he has not won more than one WC....

Interesting take on Rosberg/Hamilton mental strength from F1T

Looking at the amount of failures from both this sure is interesting.

“It's interesting because we had that meeting on Thursday and Nico expressed how angry he was – I was thinking 'It's been three weeks and you've been lingering?!' He expressed how angry he was, he literally sat there and said how angry he was at Toto and Paddy. But I thought we should be good after that and then this result … it's interesting.”

three weeks he´s ****ed off because Hamilton did not let him past in Hungary.

Seems to me Rosberg might actually be the weaker one mentally. People thought Hamilton was finished in Germany, came back strong, thought he was done in Hungary, came back even stronger.

Rosberg gets one obstacle and he´s ****ed. Then misses the start, gets even more ****ed and deliberately hits Hamilton.

Source? I find it hard to believe Rosberg would commit suicide by saying it was deliberate.

Source? Try everywhere. It's all over all F1 sites.

Hamilton has said Rosberg claimed he did it deliberately.
Mercedes confirmed Hamilton's account of the meeting was correct.
And Toto has clarified that Rosberg deliberately didn't yeild rather than deliberately crashed into him.

However you look at it, the collision that caused Hamilton to ultimately retire was caused through a conscious decision from Rosberg.
