Belgium Grand Prix 2010, Spa-Francorchamps Circuit - Race 13/19

I've missed F1 over the break, but that was all worth it for Hamilton nearly on pole and a wet/dry quali. Superb !

Wow that was intense. Conditions here literally changing by the minute and variable across the circuit. Hamilton did very well and delighted Massa is 4 places ahead of Alonso. Webber on a roll a good to see him ahead of old moody twirly finger.

It's going to be a great race tomorrow

What on Earth happened to Alonso. Given that he is generally a few tenths faster than Massa, by rights he shouldve been up there with Hamilton.

Well, I got that one correct didn't I... Alonso on pole :p

It is a brave man who bets on a non RBR to be on pole.

By rights, RBR should've got 100% of poles this season. In Canada, Hamilton used the softer (faster) tyres, to get pole. Had the RBR cars been on the same tyres, an RBR car would most certainly have been on pole in Canada, too.

I wonder if RBR can get all the remaining poles this season...if so, this might be a new record.

Jonathan Legard couldn't read a book let alone a motor race. Man needs sacking, 1 dimensional ignoramus who has no place in motor sport commentary,

Battle has been joined.....
What can he do from here.....
That man there.....
This man here.....
X from Y from Z from....
What about X, what about Y, what about Z.....

He actually drives me insane, I get the feeling Brundle spends most of his time in the commentary box cringing or rolling his eyes.

Don't know where McLaren have found this pace from, but Hamilton is looking good for tomorrow. Certainly is a close championship and still have no idea where it is going to go!

Oh and +1 to the Leggard comment. I wish he would shut up with his endless monotonous drivel and let Brundle speak. Or better yet, replace him with the 5 live team.

Ted Kravitz what news??

Removed flexi wings + a track to suit their strengths?

If what we were being told about the ground effect that the flexi wings were able to achieve was true, its about the time difference the Ferraris and Red Bulls had pulled out over McLaren.

True. Could give McLaren enough time to get to grips with their blown diffuser.

Legard is amazingly annoying sometimes.

Looks good for Hamilton tomorrow, Webber usually isn't that great for the first few laps, where as Hamilton is. I think there is a good chance Hamilton will pass him at the start or on the 1st lap.

Start should be awesome tommorrow, and more than likely weather will keep the whole race interesting.

Too many variables to make a prediction, but I'm hoping for:

1/Button
2/Hamilton

(even though it would more than likely take Hamilton either dropping it or making a less advantageous call for it to be in that order)

3/Kubica

Leg**** did mention that mclaren said rb wings wernt flexing nearly as much as previous so they must have altered it.

On fridays pratice 5 Live was saying that a guy from Honda(forget his name) that deals with carbon fiber
had just flown in and was at the RB garage.

Just got back and watching qauli, nice collection of cars in q1 for ms to miss.

Well impressed on where Lewis is (stupid radio) should be good race, especially here where weather is so unpredictable.

What the hell is going on with Alonso - 1 second slower than his team-mate. This makes no sense.

:)

I like how it's "what happened to Alonso?" rather than "great performance from Massa!". I guess it's too much to expect a little credit being thrown Felipe's way.

***edit***

Alonso blaming the Ferrari tyre strategy it seems.

Whiny little [censored]....
