Belgium Grand Prix 2010, Spa-Francorchamps Circuit - Race 13/19

Im going to be doing my best rain dance people, and have told the dog in no uncertain terms if he gets on my lap he will get booted off! :D

I was thinking I might start about 10 to 1, and then we might have some fun at the start. :p

might want to start earlier. Gascoyne currently reporting that the race will be dry, rain not expected until 3pm.
Although the skies look quite dark at the end of the gp2 race.

Yeh changeable conditions will be fun. But I'll settle for full wet too!

Although, being Spa - it's going to be a great race to watch anyway!

Possibly going to be the best race of the season here. I'd be really surprised if Hamilton wasn't in the lead by the end of lap 1. Hope the stewards don't go nuts on penalties as turn 1 will probably be as busy as always with people going wide etc on the runoff.

hahaha I've now got this image in my head of a woman dressed in pajamas dancing in her livingroom, doing some nonsensical chant and a bloke looking at the sky shaking his first, shouting "C'MON"

Well they do have "dozy cow" written on the front! :D

I don't think anybody knows what the weather will throw up.

I know that many people think that Hamilton will win this and I will probably go along with that, but surely, in unpredictable weather conditions, Button has to be in with a decent shout.

Remember, if Hamilton needs to make a strategic decision, he will leave it up to the McLaren team. Historically, we have seen that McLaren are abysmal when it comes to making decisions, which could cost Hamilton the race. Conversely, Button has shown in the past that when conditions are unpredictable, he tends to profit, rather than lose, from the situation. Of course if it dry, then Button is unlikely to get a look in.

[I remember, when F1 was on ITV1, James Allen used to say that McLaren employ some very intelligent people to make these strategic decisions, who have access to all sorts of computers and gizmos. If this is true, then seriously, McLaren need to sack the whole bunch of them and use coin tosses to make their decisions (for free), as this will be a cheaper method to make decisions and is likely to yield better results].
