Belgium Grand Prix 2010, Spa-Francorchamps Circuit - Race 13/19

i leave for spa after work on wednesday night...my maiden f1 event and cannot wait! been to a1gp, btcc, wrc, race of champions, goodwood fos events but not f1 until this weekend! :)

You will be blown away when you see the F1 cars. They really are in a class of their own.

i think because spa is suited to their car a bit more than the last race they can give the updates another week or 2 to try and get more from them.

The blown defusser is prob were most of redbulls speed is coming from in the corners since they have perfected it from the first couple of races and have just been improving and improving.

Can't wait! I'm getting up early tomorrow morning to take a Ferry across to watch my first F1 race. :D

Any tips on things I should bring, look out for or just anything in general for a F1 race weekend?

Don't buy ear plugs - enjoy the engine sounds :). Be prepared for the weather. Where are you sitting?

Nice thread OP as always.

I think you may have made a mistake here though:
Sunday: Widespread sunshine. Very warm. Dry, fine weather across northern Hungary; some limited convective cloud building locally through the afternoon to introduce a very low risk of well-scattered showers, but more so in eastern areas of Hungary. Dry race very likely. Chance of PPN 10%. Max 28C. Wind light WNW.
Hungary?

I shall be there too!!!!

Sitting under cover at Eau Rouge :D

In the Green camp in the Rimmer Super Brig! :D

Edit
Yellow camp was last year, whooops

I think McLaren could do well at Spa. They have now had time to study their revised package and should now be looking to extract maximum performance out of it.

Depending on how different Ferrari's upgrade is, it may compromise them a little. Now doubt, if they feel that the new floor is compromising them too much, they will revert back to the old floor, for the race.

Any idea's if Ferrari will use their 'F Duct' again?

Leaving for Spa shortly and will be there for the full 3 days
