Belgium Grand Prix 2010, Spa-Francorchamps Circuit - Race 13/19

I hope there is rain. The McLaren desperately need to do well, before the RBR cars get too far ahead.

You know, its just as well RBR don't have a top tier driver in their team...if they did, the championship would effectively be over by now, which wouldn't be much fun for a lot of F1 viewers.

Also, we need to see a strong showing from Alonso, if only to see him in with a chance at winning the title, in the final few races. If we can have the top 5 drivers, all in with a shout at winning the title, in the final 2 races, we shall be treated to a grand finale.

Also, consider that in the last 2 races of the race, when drivers are under serious (championship) pressure, they tend to tense up a lot and fail to drive at the same sort of pace which they did when they were winning races during the early part of the season. This can lead to all sorts of crazy results.
 
We arrived in Spa an hour ago and experienced very heavy rain within 50 miles of the circuit. In fact it's now raining lightly outside our hotel.

Looks like there's a few drivers staying in our hotel too. Just seen Petrov arrive. Loads of autograph hunters here already.

Mrs Spie just come back to our room this second having shared the lift with a Force India driver - Sutil she thinks - who's in the next but one room.

Going out for a drink now :)
 
Sat in hotel bar. Alonso just arrived and Petrov milling around reception. Do you think either of them would understand the concept of the "bread or it didn't happen" photo?

Any pictures would be great but if bread is involved, it'll be one of the greatest picture posts on this very forum :p
 
So jealous, but I did get to see some of the drivers who were staying at Whittlebury at Silverstone GP :)
