Belgium Grand Prix 2013, Spa-Francorchamps - Race 11/19

Yup, I thought they may be calling this too early, Hamilton and Vettel were cruising to save tyres for the last lap. Vettel/Hamilton will be interesting as they might have the best track conditions, do they have the tyres.

Inters at the end of session might well have been the best situation.

From the times, yeah, the big boys, the sensible guys were saving their tyres ;)

HAHAHAHA, Hamilton is the king, yes Rosberg wasn't saving his tyres and lost it, end of session 10 cars kicking water off the curbs and the slowest bits of the track was where it was.

The big guys feel the track, the conditions and know what to do, they held their tyres for the final lap realising what was going on. Great drive and great tactics by them, for me Rosberg showed his inexperience(well, just not being good enough) burning that first lap 1.5-2 seconds faster than Ham/Vet/Web, he was a bit behind so his second timed lap had to be fast but he took too much out the tyres in that first lap.

Should be an exciting start tomorrow. :D

It was either genius or a bit of a blag that the two RBs and Hamton got a final lap in as the track was drying out.

It was genius. Don't forget that Rosberg went WAY faster with 4 minutes to go and only gained half a second from the drying lap while the other guys were, well Vettel was 2.7seconds slower than Rosberg on that same lap, and slow on the next lap, then went fast.

Simple as this, tyres went, the smart guys did slow laps then fast at the end.

Look at Massa, 10th fastest, and Di Resta came in because both their tyres were completely shot in terms of fast pace.

It was 10% track drying, 90% those three saving their tyres.
