Your not looking at the same thing i am.

I quoted the the WoW slides, how did you get Skyrim slides from my quoting WoW slides?

You just quoted a completely different slide to the one i did, WT#?

The thread is called 'Micro stutter case study:Skyrim'

I link to a slide from Skyrim and you don't like it, so you get all defensive?

Do I seriously need to go to specsavers?

That is what I was talking about. You can't accept the fact that AMD have a small error, of which people have said they don't even notice. I couldn't care less. Even the guy states it is no where as bad as the 7970 and yet you can't see this. I appreciate you supporting AMD but to the point of never seeing an error isn't healthy.

Edit:

Do you think that looks good for the 7950 on Skyrim compared to the 660TI? (the other slide I linked to)

lol... What is going on with you?

I tell you thats nothing and your making a big deal out of nothing (which i think you are)
You come back with a completely different slide while quoting my statement to that effect, and now tell me that actually you were talking about the slides i quoted.

Talk about random, you have got yourself all upset over a GPU brand, again. you have been like this since the 12.11 Drivers, thats not healthy.

They are just manufacturers, money making machines, right now one is better value than the other, tomorrow that may change. its no big deal.

Just relax, we are all a kin hardware enthusiasts, brands don't come into it.
This is not Football and Football passion, either one of them will hang us out to dry if they could, no one commands loyalty.
They all answer only to investors, thats it, so peace :)

You confused me as well greg, I thought you were talking about Humbugs WoW comment, not skyrim.

The WoW results I presume is using Nvidia's adaptive vysnc-working very well in this instance, v's bog standard vysnc=win for Nvidia for straight out the box smoothness in this instance, but only just as you'd need to be Clark Kent to notice it without tools running.

But, I'll leave the ~2fps variance for smoothness argument for someone else.:p

:D

Maybe if you have nothing constuctive to say, you shouldn't say anything?

Your argument was totally incoherent mate. You were clearly talking about one set of graphs, (about WoW) then when someone pointed out you were exaggerating, you post a completely different graph of a different game (which bears no resemblence to a snake and a straight line), as if its some kind of proof.

Really there would be no noticable difference between the 'snake' and the 'straight line'.

I never get upset on a GPU forum. The same as I never get upset on a BF3 forum or any other forum.

You didn't read the part where the guy states,
I also saw stutter on the GTX 680, just not as bad haha.

The guy testing has said it (not me) and your answer is "it looks just as bad on the 680" My advice to that guy would have been to roll back the drivers for both cards. The 310.XX isn't as smooth as 306.23/97 and the same for the 12.11 (as Tommy proved by using 12.8). It is no biggie for anyone. The 12.11 drivers are great and unless you are using less than a 7950, roll back the drivers as the frame rates are more than acceptable in games (if you see the frame latency issue). A little harder on less than a 7950, as you would need to turn settings down a little.

I linked a slide of Skyrim and asked "does that look microscopic?", of which you didn't answer.

oh... come on gregster :p

What you actualy said was
Does that look microscopic or am I making a big deal out of nothing?

Quoting a completely different slide to mine of a completely different game.

So, What did you think i was accusing you of making a big deal out of? ;)

Like I said, I don't care and I will take your lack of an answer as agreeance ;)

Bit of pot kettle black there. You're one of the biggest brand defenders on this forum lol. I don't mind it - there's nothing wrong with it or anything but to try and call somebody else out for brand fondness or whatever you want to term it is just funny. Do you really think Gregster or anyone of sane mind with a nVidia card really cares about AMDs drivers as much as you're making out? Maybe they do on the Battlelog forums (teehee) but you're much less likely to have a decent debate on there and it results to name calling and mud slinging as you know.

I haven't actually read what you're all debating now so no comment :D.

Anyway not having a go but don't resort to hypocrisy or anything. It's not cool.
