BenQ BL3201PT Titan X funny horizontal flash down the screen and odd glitch

Well its been a few months and i had forgotten all about this thread, was tidying up tonight and noticed in my mirror that my screen was randomly turning itself on and off.

Managed to get it on video and finally have something to send to them as proof of it being gimped.

Be interesting to see what they have to say about this as last time they were basically parroting about needing proof to see an intermittent glitch that was basically a flash. Yet i've seen in reviews on amazon that other people suffering the same issue needed no proof to get it rma'd.

RMA finally sorted out, a replacement refurbished unit on the way. Would have preferred a new one but seems thats how monitor replacement usually works. =/

I see you are using a Asus 980ti did you try out different drivers. Most of the newer drivers from Nvidia starting from January have had a multitude of problems.

Yeah it was an ongoing issue pretty much from day 1, happened on my 295x2 and the 2 fury x cards i had to return because of the pump whine issue. I just hope they swap this out into a box that the replacement comes in...going from the rma gobbeldy gook it reads like they expect me to have this monitor packaged for them like im suddenly going to pull a perfectly sized box for the panel out of somewhere.

Spoke too soon, random flashes across the screen and its always went to black a couple of times.

Are these things all gimped or am i just unlucky? :(

Gerard, it must be your setup. Make sure you get a nice quality full DP cable...

It's unlikely you'd get a screen with the same problem, looks like loss of sync to me.

My two screens are unchanged since the day I had them, they still have the rare, random half-screen glitch. I still have the auto-blank on..

Overall, I'm very well pleased with the both of them. Only thing that is a bit sub-par is the purple slash screen when you turn it on, it looks really cheap and pixelated.
