I don't understand, how comes the ports at the back of the 7970 Lightning looks unmistakably like dual link? Same as the 7950.
There is probably a switch on the GPU to allow for 120Hz to be used through the inputs, look on the side of it.

Iv'e heard other 7970's have a switch but don't think the lightning has,can't find 1?
My bad. I was reading this topic and didn't notice the Signature of PCM2.
So his test is online. I have to read it once more. I don't get if it's better or not of the xl2420t or if the brigtness is realy to strong.
So asumming you are A Simmons!
For purely FPS gaming would you set the AMA to high or premium?
From your review it seems like high is a better balanced choice?
Yes that's me (author of the review). High produces superior results - it doesn't cause any additional input lag or 'conventional trailing' compared to Premium and seems to simply reduce the overdrive trailing. It would be my choice without question.
@Rossi
I know there is an awful lot to digest and the fact that the XL2411T got a lower score in the end is confusing. That isn't really because it is a worse monitor (far from it) but simply because there were some issues that I would have liked to see BenQ address in the year since the 20T was released. The matte screen surfaces now used on modern IPS and PLS panels are much more pleasing to my eyes. AUO/BenQ have used it in the past for their VA panels so it is high time they adopted it more broadly. It is very nice that they have managed to reduce the overdrive trailing (that's great) but it is still there which may bother some people. The 144Hz mode is certainly nice and given this plus the reduced overdrive trailing I would personally go for this one over the 20T purely for gaming.
