How are the blacks and ghosting? Can you post a few pictures of some gameplay maybe?
 
Na I didn't mean screenshots I meant an actual camera shot. And you can easily tell the differnce in quality between some monitors from even a 720p youtube video. Check the Hazro IPS videos.

I'd imagine any TRUE 120hz monitor would be fine for quake. If quake requires more than 120hz then your only option would be to stick with a CRT. I know I have a few mates that still refuse to use anything but there old CRT's when it comes to quake and CS. And when you say "blur" I imagine you mean ghosting right? In that case what I said already.

The lg model you reference, excluding laptop displays is hands down the worst display I ever owned. The equivalent benq/asus was far superior.

There is a newer version of that screen however (D2342P-PN) which I'd assume goes up against this newer benq display.

Can't disagree more. At £150 it's a steal if you can still find one.
 
I would go with a 950d any day over this. If it were the same price....

BUT... Unfortunately it's nowhere near the same price. So I think this BenQ is probably up there with the best at this price point.

Glossy screen is beautiful on it compared to the benQ. It's 27" which is a plus for me. But as I said the price difference puts them in different leagues.

Nvidia using the xl2420 to demo their products at CES. Can't be all bad. :D
