We rely on alarm clocks to wake us up at certain points, we use watches to ensure we get to events, calenders to keep track of the intervals between events; what we plan to do and have done, but, does time really exist beyond the present moment?

'Space and time are modes by which we think, not conditions under which we live' Einstein

The thoery of relativity suggests that eventually the universe will collapse, all matter would end and time would cease to exist!!

So keeping all this in mind

Do you think Bernard aged when he stopped time on his watch?

Random... But I would say yes. If he can move, breath etc while others are frozen in time he has to be existing in a time outside of normal time and therefore still getting older

Yes, Bernards watch seems to run under the theory that each individual lifeform runs on it's own timeline and while these are in sync time runs for all however the watch is putting his timeline out of sync with the rest therefore to him time seems to have stopped however his time is still running it's just out of sync with the rest of time which gives him the apperance it is stopped.

Yes, because he was still active, just everything else wasn't.

Wouldnt't he get owned by friction and stuff though?

i want to know how he could pause time, turn on a tap to fill a bucket of water then put it upside down over someone's head and remove the bucket but the water stayed frozen untill he started time and it fell on their head:mad:

How did the tap work!

Welcome to OcUK, everyone here will just want to know how much Bernard spent on his watch TBH.

Google it.

In short, a kid, with a watch right?

The watch could freeze time. He done stuff while time was frozen but never anything perverted because it was a kids program.

I wonder if there's a porn variant of it...

Yeah, the scriptwriters clearly all got a fail in Physics.

After looking into Bernards Watch it would seem that it was a TV program about an English Heero Nakamura.

Either way, if one froze time in such a way one would have to exist in a different time continuum, but if so one would not even be able to breath or move as the particles of air around him would have to move at infinite speed to allow him to move through them thereby becoming infinitely excited and probably causing an explosion.

Bernard's Clock

:D

I googled that, and got animal porn. : /

I just said that!
