I wouldn't use a 4-4-2, would go for a 4-2-3-1.

i considered ribery after his world cup semi final display but haven't seen enough to convince me he's best 11 material definetly one for the future though

I've watched him for the last year or so and he has bags of potential. I could have just went for the obvious choices like Ronaldo and Kaka but for me Ribery is something a little more special. Check this out:

why on earth have so many of you included Ferdinand!!!! Sure he's good when he's playing, shame he only plays 10mins of evry match, god only knows what he's thinking about the other 80mins he strolls round the pitch.

Why rio ? hes good but not that good not in the top 5 best in the world.

Your midfield lacks structure. You want all 4 attacking midfielders ? And eto'o is good but better then sheva?

Also Buffon is better then czech

Exactly how I feel about Deco.

And as for people wondering why we put Ferdinand? It's because on the big occassion he is probably the best defender in the world, he proved this at this years (and the '02) World Cup with Cannavaro being the only other CB you could class as being in the same league. As for not being in the best 5? Don't talk rubbish.

kaka and ronaldiho swapping positions and gerrard roaming as usual, sissoko doing all the leg work he's so good at. Would like to have some out and out wingers on the bench though to change the game if some of the important guys have a stinker.
