Best 50" TV for immersive cinema experience

Thanks for all of your input, eventually ordered a Samsung QE55S95B which came with a free soundbar, cancelled almost immediately and now I have a LG OLED55C2 with a half price LG-S95GR 9.1.5 soundbar arriving today.

Can't wait!

In for a penny as they say!

Yeah it'll improve the TV's own speakers but if you want to go to next stage...

Full price wouldn't be worth it. £600 can get you a decent stereo setup though

As soundbars go it's one of the better ones, I actually think it has room correction and a few other features even.

Obviously a proper AVR with separates is going to be superior, but if you need a compact setup and can get it for a good price (50% off) it's going to offer a pretty good experience.

I've got a QE55QN94A in my lounge, love it. When I bought it I was torn between that and the LG OLED, went for the Samsung as that room is very bright.

The converted bedroom isn't so looking potentially at something that does darks better, such as perhaps the OLED, or the Phillips originally mentioned.

Keep checking to see if there are any early Black Friday deals, price is always a factor.

Wonder if you can return if you don't win your money back
Just buy 20 of them, return the 19 you don't get for free ?

Im in almost the exact same boat as the op, just split my living room in half and want to make the smaller end a TV room, currently thinking the LG OLED 55 inch CS model is decent at RS for £880, but also tempted by the 48 inch C2... decsisions

Don't buy the smaller TV you will always regret it. This is coming from experience. (went 55", should have gone 65", ended getting 65" three years later)

The 55” CS is just shy of £1000 at RS unless you have a discount voucher?
