Best first 600?

Honda CBF 600 is my current 600 and first 600.

Cheap to run, a lot of fun. I'd recommend it.

Also if you're big then avoid fared bikes such as 600RR GSX600-R etc. Extremely uncomfortable I found which was sad as I had my heart set on a GSX

I take it you mean the GSX-R 600 Rather than the GSX600-F(Sorry, just pedantic mode in the ordering of letters lol). Did you try any of the older models, such as the K1-K3 GSX-R as they're quite big bikes, not like the new ones.

Tried the K4. Yes I did mean GSX-R 600 and not GSX600-F.

Just turns out I went with a 600 with an F in it in the end

Yeah, the K4 onwards are much lighter and smaller compared to the 00-03 models. I was shocked when I sat on my bosses K8 in how much different it felt, even though it was a 600 and not a 750 like mine, so was expecting a bit of a drop, just didn't realise how much lol.
