best game ending

i would have to say COD4, my friend amy was round at the time when i started it for the first time and we didnt stop playing till it was finished, at the end im sure the neighbours must have thought some dodgy things, me and her screaming at the screen going "SHOOT HIM, SHOOOOTT HIMMMMMM... OMG, HES TURNING AROUND ARRGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" my god hairs tingled that i didnt even knew exist on my body lol.

R-Type 2 i think it was. This cone shaped world blows up & ****. The whole game goes mental. Has a lot to do with how much i enjoyed completing it though & how hard & good it was.

None of the wish endings were good endings, you didnt wish the zone to be fixed you just wished it would disappear - and all that happend was the wishgranter made you blind technicaly making it disappear to you. (along with everything else)
 
The ending of CoD4 was absolutely brilliant - as was the whole story of the game. I can't say I've been as immersed in the story of a game as I have with CoD4 for years!
 
The ending of F.E.A.R. was quite memorable for me - mainly because I leapt out of my chair and flung my mouse across the room.

But yes, COD4 ended in a very pleasing fashion. I'm sure there are more, but those two stand out for me.
 
Well I've finished HL2 E2 and I have to say after the battle, the ending was a shocker!

Great stuff.. It should have had the Eastender "duffduff ddddffuuuuuffff" at the end :)
 
CoD 4 ending was pretty damn good i actually thought i was going to die lol

but i have to agree with chrissss

MGS 1 2 3 all had great endings, especially those phone calls from ocelot :)
