Out of the following what would you choose,

1. Logitech Cordless G7 Gaming-Grade Laser Mouse £46.94

2. Logitech G5 Gaming-Grade Laser Mouse £37.54

3. Razer Diamondback Plasma 1600dpi Gaming Mouse Limited Edition £35.19

4. Razer Copperhead Anarchy Red 2000dpi High Precision Gaming Mouse £46.94

Well i have diamondback and enjoy mine took me a while to get used to it but when i had its good.

I have not used any of the others so cant comment im afraid but i know people do rate logitech ones highly. :)

G7 here.
I got a cordless mouse, because I didn't want the tail pulling, I find they have a tendancy to hunt the nooks and crannies that get them stuck.
I wouldn't use 2000 dpi as the clincher, 1600 dpi is more than enough. I find 2000 dpi way too sensitive, lukily the G7, and G5 (not sure about the razors) have sensitivity adjustment.

i still like my 510. I loved the razer boomslang 2000, but they just have **** build quality and have never bought a razer since.

IMO it will vary depending on the size of your hand, i had a razer copperhead and didn't like it as i felt it didn't fit my hand properly. Sold it and bought a Mx518 and love it. I'm thinking about picking up the G5.

I really really don't like the MX1000. Had one for ages and would never go back, compared to the comfort, adjustable weight and accuracy of my G5 that is.

The G5 due to the rubbish battery life of the G7

awsome mouse

Nowt wrong with the Battery of the G7, and after 8+ hours it only takes a few seconds to change them over, then you just carry on playing; simple and effective. Quality mouse and my first choice on that list :)

I would never go back to having a cordless mouse, personally. My old one ate batteries and got interference from my wireless network (and nothing I could do would change this). I would imagine that they are probably better now, but I would still never get one. They also tend to be heavier, so it depends how you like your mouse.

The Copperhead is a great mouse, although it's a bit light for me. So, I'd go for the G5.

agreed,

Cordless is nice but when gaming the G5 is the better option IMO

I would get the one which most resembles your current mouse. Will take less time to get use to and at the end of the day they are all good mice. know a few people who got a MX style mouse and have put it back in the draw due to the shape compared with what they are use to. Not they aint good mice, I use the MX510 and love it.
