Best language to learn

im thinking about learning to speak in another tongue, what would be the best language to learn and benefit me the most i was thinking italian or spanish? :confused:

Entirely depends on whether your going to be needing the language? No good learning Spanish if your gonna be spending your holidays in Germany for example :p

yes but certain languages can benefit you regardless of wheather you visit the country etc

The one problem being it's considered, grammatically anyway, one of the hardest languages to learn.

EDIT: Try learning EVERY grammar rule, since it is VERY strict, but theres so dam much to know.
 
German is an absolutely fantastic language in terms of grammar/structure and just how angry everyday phrases sound when spoken :D. I need to take it up again, I've forgotten most of what I learnt at GCSE/A-level.

Nein bitte nichts! Es wurde deine Kopf morden! (Argh some of my german sucks)

Du kann viel besserer Fremdsprachen lernen, zum Beispiel Franzozisch oder Spanisch
