Best refreshing bottled lager for the summer days

Tried some of the thread suggestions out over the last week or so:

My finding were, most refreshing:

Carling shandy *dons flame suit*

Asahi

Carling

Most other stuff was about the same Pilsner Urquell, Camden Hells, Brooklyn Pilsner, Krombacher Pils, Warsteiner, Heineken. Was disappointed in the Pilsner Urquell I thought it was quite bitter, I couldn't describe it as refreshing. Thought Warsteiner was going to be nice but also had a bit of an aftertaste. The Heineken wasn't the best for some reason, sure I've had it nicer from cans before.













Bud Light - initially tastes like fizzy water then....dear god.....what is this rancid taste in my mouth. I honestly don't know how people can drink this stuff. I drank one can and tipped the rest down the sink.
 
Augustiner is the winner really. Spent many years sat on the banks of the Rhine watching the sun go down with a few Augustiner from the trinkhalle.

These days if I'm having a drink it'll usually be just one strong IPA, can't be dealing with the carbs and bloat from mass lager consumption anymore.

Yep, had two Amstels recently - tastes like crap and gave me a headache almost immediately. Messed with me bad.

Quite like a tripple hopped IPA, or a cold german lager.. but if it’a hot like has been recently then just water.
Mind you a Chiti works lice cold too (even when it’s meant to be cool not almost ice).
 
Harbour Helles is a lovely summer beer. Lemony.

I find that with any beer brewed with rice. Disgusting.

Forgot about Budvar, much nicer than the Bud that came after it.

You're right about Pilsner Urquell, sometimes drink it but can have a bitter taste.

@MrRockliffe Cruzcampo is coming to the UK, first in bars then the supermarkets. Which is weird as I could swear id had it over here.
