On the basis of this thread I tried the Co Op version. A valiant effort and very tasty but still not quite strong enough to induce Bell’s palsy. The search continues.

Not really a big fan of big bag "posh" crisps, like supermarket ones with posh names like for example cheddar and red onion or sea salt and cider malt vinegar etc. They always become a bore by time you reach the end of the bag.

I do however like McCoys and Aldi Walkers clones - they even use the same colour scheme as Walkers e.g blue for cheese & onion!

the co-op ones have twice as much salt as aldi - QED ?

Been eating a big bag of the M&S ones. They are very nice with a very hefty tang to them that goes right through your tongue. Excellent crunch too. Up there with the coop ones imo, much better than your regular kettle chip stuff and the like.
