Best savings account?

Anyone know about closing ISA's? For Example I transfered from Chip to T212, the transfer is now confirmed as successful, but now I have a chip ISA which is empty..

Can I just go ahead and close the chip account like I would any other bank account?

Yes, you'll need to wait 15 days before they can close it but if you message them they'll sort it or if you still have time to wait they'll message again once the time is over to confirm you still want to close.

Edit: after reading the above this may be because I wanted to close my entire chip account rather than just the ISA that I'd transferred out

Didn't get any message from them and they have closed it , I didn't request anything just moved it all out they did mention I wouldn't be able to open ISA with them in the future when going ahead with the transfer

Anyone using Trading 212 for regular savings? If I'm reading the app right, they are offering me 4.9%. Not sure if there's any implications though.

Cheers, 3 days is fine.

Has anyone here moved Fidelity S&S ISA to 212? I'm tempted, as the Fidelity website/app is pretty poor and I think 212 works out cheaper in terms of fees. The ISA is long term, single deposit a year mostly close to the max allowance.

Thanks all, Chip ISA looks like it's gonna get closed...

Where do they get off telling me I can't do business with them again in future? money is money right?

I've gone from 4.2 or whatever to 4.9%

Idiots...

Am I right in saying T212 can act as a regular savings account as well? In the invest section at 4.9%

Correct, uninvested cash also earns 4.9%. You have to enable it, some of the cash is held in QMMFs as well as banks.
