I was going to make a new thread because i dont have the net at home. Currently going through trackmania sunrise again but would like an FPS to go through.

Was thinking alpha prime, conflic denied ops of SOF3? Anyone have any info on these?
 
From playing over the Christmas break I would say, Bioshock was the most immersive experience. Crysis was fun, but I had to push myself to finish it because it became a little to repetitive for me. (Reckon that nano suit could have done with some modding/tweaking on power consumption)

I'm going back to Oblivion next in the hope that Qarls Texture Pack III and Francesco's new creatures and items can hold my attention. I found the melee combat was just far too slow previously so I am hoping the eye candy will now distract me :)

SOF3 (its not even really SOF3, as it doesnt have much in common with the other games other than guns and gore) is utter cack, seriously, dont waste any cash on it, it's terrible.

Played the demo of alpha prime, that seemed pretty awful too....
 
well dont know what too play first as just got bioshock,crysis,oblivion reinstalled stalker(never finished) sup com as been busy playing cod 4.
 
Been away from PC gaming myself for awhile so was keen to try Stalker. Just bought it for £4.99 delivered online! Can't go wrong at that price.

why dont you try the conflict denied ops demo?
i heard sof3 is very poor

I tried getting into vampire: bloodlines I loved the original game but could never get into the sequal I was confused from begining to end not knowing what I should be doing. I never really got far at all. a lot of people rav about it but it feels so unfinished when I play it like the dev's forgot to finish it. Even with the unofficial patches I couldn't get on with it, compared to deus ex and morrowind it just seems so poor. Maybe I should go back and have another look at it, after I finish gears of war, need for speed:most wanted and lego star wars :D
 
I know its a bit older and may have played it but Condemned: Criminal Origins is frackin awesome and can be had for 4.99

yeh I completed it on 360 but playing the oc version pumped up using the fear engine and the mouse is worth 5 quid. Can be had at usual game shops down town etc, online it seems sold out most places. best bet would be fleabay :)

ps. another vote for bioshock amazing game.

Is there actually any kind of real single player eliment to the Trackmania games?

Ive played a few and found them to be brilliant fun online, but the single player is just pointless and repetitive sinple tracks against computer cars over and over... Am I missing something?

After a day of work i usually dont have time to properly get into games. Its fun to try and beat the gold/author cars to unlock new tracks. Once you have done this (which will take ages to beat author cars) you can try and beat your own lap times.

Simple game thats easy to play but hard to master
 
I'm so enjoying Gears of War at the moment. I love the cinimatic movements and control interface. So diffeent and the game is awesome with some nice touches. :)
