Best small midi tower?

First three are on my list as well! The thing I'm not keen on with the Pure Base 500 is accessing the screws should I want to replace the fans mid life. Looks like the Mobo would get in the way to access it unless you mount them inside so they don't sit flush. Also not overly keen on the front panel for air intake but I've seen mixed results from the reviews.

I do like the compactness of the Meshify C though. But I also like the fact on the Entoo I can put my 2.5" Card reader on the front in the ODD space. Hmm it's a tough choice!

That's an excellent choice, did you go for a dark tint tempered glass? You'll have to let us know how it was like building in it!

Yup dark tinted window one :D

Will do, probably won't arrive till later next week or the week after, quite looking forward to it now tbh!

I've just taken the plunge, in order to imrove airflow in general, and ordered the Fractal Design C Tempered Glass, I'm currently using the Mini C but with a 280mm Rad, the lower half of the lower front fan is obscured by the PSU shroud (I had to mod it to get it in there in the first place). Hopefully, with a careful swap over and some tidying up, as well as my on-going project of putting an AIO on the GPU, I should see temps, and noise, drop off to inaudible levels :)

I'm still looking at the moment, quite interested in the BeQuiet Pure Base 500DX, which has a mesh front but looks a bit lancool 2 ish. But that comes with a USB C port on the front and an extra fan is included. I'm also interested in the lancool 2 mesh version although not keen on the side mesh sides though, would rather have the original sides with a mesh front.

Decisions decisions!

Meshify C is definitely a good choice though!

When I was speaking to Lian Li, I believe they said they will be selling the mesh front separately.

All moved to the new case now from my antec p100.

Didn't realise just how small it would be lol, so was a pretty big pita to build in tbh.

Once finished though, it is rather nice and sleek!

Suspect mine was more of a faff as I had 2 mech drives + 2 ssd drives and my psu cables are super thick and not exactly flexible so the right side of the case cover is fitted but slightly bulging from all the cables. Definitely think the next step forward will be to replace my 250gb ssd with a 1tb m.2 drive.

Haven't got the be quiet dark rock pro 3 cpu cooler yet so still on the stock ryzen cooler and haven't replaced the case fans with the akassa apache ones either so noise wise, it is a bit louder compared to the antec p100 but not by much and temps wise, it seems much the same, maybe a bit less, hard to tell as ambient temps are different, however, no doubt once I get the new cpu cooler fitted and akassa apache fans installed, things all round will improve.

Looks really good!! Enjoy!

Looking tidy mate! Looks a bit of an odd location for the power sockets on the GPU :) I've got 2 mech drives as well that I'm trying to accommodate. Heard bad things about the P300 with the HDD cage which is the only criticism of the case. Although just saw the announcement for the Pure Base 500DX!

Still unsure of the Lancool 2, buying the front cover separately would push it into premium territory, where I could wait for the P500A or get a P600S. Hmmm still a tough choice!

Thanks :)

Looks so much better in person, especially with the dark tinted window.

Tell me about it! Hate the location of those VGA power cables

Got to say though, the cooling is pretty good for the current setup as my antec p100 had 4 120mm fans in total, 2 at the front, 1 at the back and 2 on the top and 2 of those were akassa apache ones.

Be interesting to see the noise levels once the akassa fans are added instead of the fractal ones and with the be quiet cpu cooler, expecting a pretty quiet system then!

Hard drive cage in this seems decent, temps aren't too bad and the drives installed easily enough, can't wait to get my system free from mech drives at some point though....
