If you play Battlefield because you don't like Call of Duty then avoid Hardline, the maps are tiny, the spawns are rubbish, and the cars feel terrible to drive too.

The netcode is clearly still broken, you constantly get killed by a guy with 0 health, around a corner and many other things.
 
For the first time in a battlefield game (I've been playing since 1942) I tried playing with people on teamspeak, it's awesome! I've been in a mmo-ish multi-gaming community for years, but only just found out someone else in there plays Battlefield. I don't know how I've gone this long without doing it more, I strongly suggest all you lone wolves find people to play with.
 
i wouldn't play video games without voice coms. one for communication in game but for the random fun you have with people is often better than the games themselves :D
 
Hotwire if played well with a team is so good game. yes you can play it just blow stuff up have fun but you play it as objectively as possible it is very well thought out.

also great for ranking and getting cash with my boosts on after 3 rounds on one server 300,000 in cash :cool: im a engineer just driiving and repairing.

conquest on that map with the mansions on the sea from is sublime ! :cool: we had a really balanced game on a server and people dropping through roof holding it was immense fun.


also seen the couch on last night managed to tube the people off it :D
 
Downloading this now , didn't mind the beta but was late to the party . so didn't get a full experience before it was shut down .

What TS you lot using and is OCUK clan going or something similar . Ta
 
I want to like this game, but it's proving difficult to.

TDM - a complete turd, spawns behind, in front, wherever corresponding to the enemies
Hotwire - good fun sometimes, terrible when the other team camp with charges and rockets
Heist - had some good games of this, some terrible ones

Grenades seem to have a variable kill zone, sometimes you survive close to them, sometimes you are killed far away

Snipers, snipers everywhere

cars that get stopped on pebbles
players that get stopped on pebbles
bonuses that affect the scoreboard, so MVP means nothing
people that have played a lot before / on launch have a huge advantage as they have unlocked attachments for their guns

Maybe I am just getting to old to be competitive, dunno :(
