Well that was a waste of bandwidth, installed the patch and the game CTD when i try to join a server.

Are there many servers running 1.5 yet?, i know the 1.5 beta servers were less than 10 on karkand, medium/large maps when i tried!

All the servers i reguarly use have it installed.....but no players yet..there all still downloading i guess....

Give it a couple of days and they will be rammed as usual.

Lol @ Patch install....

if you already have the booster packs installed like i do, it only takes about 30 seconds to install....from a 2Gb file...

Mine was fine, took about 2mins for the installer to show up but after that it didn't take too long

gamershell still giving 225kb/s less than 2 hours to go, why EA did not support from their servers direct is my bug!

I don't really see many changes at all, infantry still seem to be bouncing around all over the place, and ive not noticed much change on the helo mounted guns.

Have you deleted the shaders cache?

On Vista an all.

My BF2 continues.

I find it insane that people would even want to play infantry only considering the infantry combat in the bf franchise has always felt like an afterthought to the vehicle combat.
