BF2: =50K= vs [OcUK] Game III

As lon g as the commander knows what he's doing and he and the squad leaders have mics and everyone does what the commander tells them we'll have a chance.

well 1 server crash and 12 disconnects later I've given up, thanks a ******* bunch EA, useless bunch of *******

/me goes off to reinstall windows and BF2 again... :mad:

PS: to those interested theres only 16 [OcUK] players on the server vs 21 =50k=

For the 2 whole minutes I did manage to play, I'd like to say good game all.
 
seems like such a pointless waste of time, clan vs randoms. 2nd only to the confusion of, how the hell do 50k have so many members? surely thats classed as a community instead now?
 
I had to give up, sorry.

16 guys from OcUK VS 21 from 50klicks. They were actually organised where as we totally went against ALL plans we had made. No one went in the squads they were supposed to which meant I couldn't get into the squad I was put in.

Thanks to FosterK who organised it, thanks to 50K for owning us ( :p ) and thanks to the OcUK members who actually turned up.
 
it was a joke it really was, 15v22 we didnt stand a chance. i was looking foward to this aswell. Before the server crashed we were doing good on karkand as the US, infact we were winning by 50+ tickets , after the crash we lost with no flags at all :mad:

It is a community. The last one wasnt a pointless waste of time, infact it was really good fun. Yes, 50K won the last one, but its more for a bit of fun than anything IMO. This one seemed to have died a bit, 16 Vs 21 is a bit advantagous.

Well with only 3 of us making it to the finish i'm disapointed.

At the most we had 16 players and against 16 or so on =50K= at first we were having an ace game. Then the rest of their team showed up whereas everyone else from our team decided to go off somewhere and not say they weren't coming.

*Gah, rant over*
 
Yeh we were doing great IMO before it crashed, whoever was in the jeep at the time of the crash actually went flying through the air :p

After the server started again we all fell apart sadly, personally I got heli whored 99% of the time on Zatar which was a bit annoying, still we tried our best against an organised team who play all the time AND who had 7 more players.

Good game team :)
 
Thanks to all those that turned up, even if you were disconnected!

I thought Karkand went well, but it all went lop-sided on Zatar.

The next game will be after the upcoming patch - and if Road to Jalalalalalalalabad is any good, we'll be playing that ;)



Again, thanks to all that turned up - I had fun, and I hope that, despite the numbers difference and all that, you did too.

Next time, I'll be talking directly to Yewen, and arranging it through him. He can post a thread on the OcUK Clan forum, and that should eliminate most of the dropouts.

50K are NOT a clan....never have been and never will. We are a community through and through, much like you guys in that respect.
 
One of my clan was playing Mercenary for the 50K during you match - sounds like you got a drubbing.

Dont sweat it though, we beat the crap outta them back in May.

We played 2 maps, 2 rounds a piece, Karkand & Dalian Plant, 14 v 14 and 20 min round time. Final Score was:1241[RS] 311=50K=.

They aint so big & tough!!

And thats incredibly helpful and completely irrelevant, well done.

RS are a proper clan who will do almost anything to win, as proven by their undeniably good Clanbase record. 50K and OcUK are not. We like to play to have fun. It was not a clan match and wasnt treated as such by either team as far as im aware.

Well, not quite anything. Sleeping with monkeysdwarfs is out for instance. As is hiding our grannies false teeth.


Seriously though: we work out a plan of action, we play it in the game, and we win. And we do our best to win coz losing isnt fun, no matter how small the score.
