Any half-decent pilot will do a huge arc and machinegun the **** out of the AA nests constantly. I used to *hate* the planes in BF2 with a fiery passion, one of the main reasons I stopped playing it.

Yeah i'm hoping to go home to tommorow and have a couple of games.
Have not played for ages
whats the size of the patch now last time i dloaded one it was massive, might be a good idea to get it now

BF belongs to the pc, its not a console game really IMHO.

bad company is the playstation version of battlefield, liek the other playstation version didnt come to pc either. and well it was pretty fun on the console but aiming is rubbish

and personally i think this patch was just BS..... they aint going to release one for ages and by then bf3 will be out

Hope they do bring out a new Battlefield though.

Yeah but since only 2-3% of our measly PCs can run a FIFA game what hope is theref for Battlefield game?

Finally some news about it, although nothing brilliant, especially the last line...

There has been a lot of discussions on the Battlefield forums regarding the Battlefield 2 Update 1.50, so this is to let you all know what’s happening.

Update 1.50 is still in development, we have held back on releasing the update as we have become aware of and are taking preventative measures against 3rd party tools which have been severely affecting everyone’s playing experience recently by crashing dedicated servers, clients as well as allowing account spoofing. We hope you understand our decision to delay the release to resolve these issues rather than releasing early with a need to update again.

We are looking to release this update by Winter of this year.

Nice one .... the account 'spoofing' (hacking) along with server crashing needs to be addressed more than anything else ....
